Thanks, on the mileage I don't recall the numbers and I'm sure they have never been exact due to the gears but I'm pretty sure I was at approx. 21+ mpg with the 33's and no bumpers/armor. I know I have it posted some where here or on TTORA.

Some pics of the fender flares with 2" removed my buddy sent me 43 photos to show how he put them together and document the process there are more in my gallery but these will give you a good idea of the process involved. I should get another batch of pics as soon as he sprays them with the raptor bedliner.

Gap that needed to be filled in.

I wondered the same thing when he told me about using Raptor liner. He says it is really good stuff in his opinion as it goes on really thin, super flexible and almost stretchy with a good texture is how he described it. I figured since he is doing the work that he can use whatever he wants I just want to be done with these flares.

Here they are after coating them with Raptor, so they are done and we are going to try and get them shipped back to me on Monday. I'm excited to see these when they show up they look damn good from the pics I was sent.

So just a quick recap: I pulled these flares late last summer with plans to have 2" inches taken out of them. I took them to a local shop to work on half way through the project the guy who was working on them left. They sat in my shop all winter while I tried to come up with another plan to finish them. Spoke to one of my best friends growing up and let him know what was going on with them he said send them his way and he would get them finished and he delivered. He said that he is willing to do some more sets if folks are interested. I will get pics posted as soon as they show up and I can get them on the truck. Amazing how some projects take forever.....

Great Finish. I like the Raptor. We use alot of Polyurethane at my work and I must admit that the Raptor is pretty tight.

    Love your truck n0rth.

    Thanks on the build
No he is not on TW he is a jeep guy lives in Littleton. I do know he has been lurking TW lately to see what folks think of his work on the flares.

Thanks, I dig the the Diamond plate and haven't seen a whole lot of people with it.

I just skimmed through all 14 pages of this thread...I must say it's coming along great!

Let me know how that Raptor liner treats you...I've been looking around at coatings that I can spray my undercarriage with someday, and right now Raptor seems to be my top choice.
