The look has been growing on me, but we test fit one of the cut flares today and they look even better but those are still a little ways out.

    Thanks

I was trying to scare you j/k, The new KM2's look great on your truck and which synthetic winch line are you running and how do you like it?

They aren't bad at all reminds of the truck being stock and the mileage is at 19 MPG or so. I have about 700 miles on them now, I downshift sooner on the hills but knew that was coming otherwise pretty good so far. It will be nice when the FJ transfer case with twin sticks goes in as I will have 2wd low for those times I need to be lower geared but don't need 4wd.

It should have shipped today, so I haven't quite made a plan yet but it looks like I will have some time on my hands in December to do it.

Thanks, your truck is one of the ones that started all this.

We finished some more stuff on the truck in the past week so here are the updates. Rear bumper and swingout went on really easy they fit great and look really good.

Some pics of the swingout in a different configuration

I did this set up so I could still use the hitch rack to haul a dirt bike and it was something a little different than what is already out there.

I have only had time to trim the front fenders, so I need to still finish the rear. This is a tool I made to mark the 2 inches I wanted to take out and still keep the same basic shape to the fender.

Here is some pics of the actual trim job. Many thanks here to Relentless Tacos build thread and All On Black.

I also put my wheel spacers back on the truck turns out I was getting a little rub on the UCA. It also made the stance look better to me.

    So that's it for now....

    Thanks man.

It's what came on the Superwinch epi9.0S which is 3/8” x 80' (9.5mm x 24.4m) Dyneema. The same stuff amsteel blue uses in their lines it just doesn't have their label on it. It even came with a viking offroad paper with the warnings and all so I'm convinced it's the exact same. I'm happy with it. I've never handled synthetic line before and when I picked up the bag from the box I was very skeptical of it being 80' long. This stuff is so incredibly light.

Your rear bumper and those tires look killer. Especially in that last shot that shows the stance. A little tip-paint the license plate light so it doesn't stick out so much. I picked up some stainless hardware for the light because apparently the Chinese have never heard of rust:D

That is a beast! I can see that I will be making one of those "tools" here soon! Flares will be gone and spacers on! And thank you for not posting a pic of the front of our two trucks in the driveway so everyone can see just how big your tires are and how small mine are! LOL

    Thanks for the info

    Thanks

You brought it up so now I have to post it. The wheel thing I made worked pretty slick other than the front corner of the fender you have to adjust it with your eye and the body line but it's easy to see the line to continue it.
For all of the above, this is the only one I have.^^^^

I can't wait for the new case to show either, have you found a FJ case to build yet? I spent all day yesterday cleaning out the garage so I have a good spot to work on the truck out of the weather.

First real snow of the year the MTR's seem to be pretty good.

From that pic Brant's don't look too small. Dang that's a ton of clearance under there.

    Some stickers
You have any issues with bead retention running those 35s on a 7.5 rim?
