Nope. Center bore was correct on them.

Which reminds me, I have to get the offset numbers for sqrl.

 

I don't think you can buy -22 offset in 16's anymore. I've been looking.

 

Checked my receipts. I don't have the one for my current wheels that wouldve given me a part number to look up the offset. Sorry!

 

Installed some Gtek sill protectors:





And washed all the salt off it


Also put on a new wiper blade on drivers side 3/17 @ 82,200.

 

New rear tires at 89,150...fronts coming in soon. Front brakes also went on this past weekend at the same mileage.

 

Did you do anything special when installing the YETI bottle opener? Just drill it in?

 

Nothing special. I just drilled it in. It's solid and not going anywhere!

 

New Front tires today at 91,320k. Also did the front driver side wheel bearing today.
Very straight forward and easy job.

 

New spark plugs and air filter today at 91,780 miles.
This was my first time changing the plugs, and I don't know if the dealer did them before I purchased it, because they were clearly long overdue. Aside from the mileage on them, they looked great to me. Side by side, new and old (btw, I checked the gap on the old ones for the fun of it, and they were anywhere from 55-61 lol)

 

I want to do the same bottle opener mod. What type of hardware you used?

 

I can't remember exactly, but I'm pretty sure the opener came with the 4 screws. If not, just hit up home depot/lowes and find some metal screws that fit the pre-drilled holes. You don't need anything special.
If you're slightly paranoid that someone will steal it, your other option would be to drill 4 holes in the bed and bolt it in.

 

Yeah I will for sure will be bolting it to the bed. Wondering if self tapping screws would work in the bed fiber glass

 

You probably can, but I chose to drill a small pilot hole instead. Use a countersink style head so the screw sits flush in the opener.

 

Can you post a link from Home Depot or Lowes for the correct screw to use? thanks in advance

Damn, sorry I missed your last post. I'm in Cranford.

 

Here are a few pics of my recent sound deadening project. I didn't take any of the doors, but I'll type out what they got.

I did not load up the doors as heavily as I have in the past. Reason being is that I've done this same project before and I've had door hinges fail on the previous truck because they were not designed for the additional weight that this much material can add. SO, I decided to keep the weight down as much as possible while still using effective material.

I used all second skin audio products for the install. In total, I killed all 4 doors, the rear cab wall and the roof. I had a small amount of Damplifier leftover, so I installed that under the hood. And before you ask...no. It didn't do a damn thing. I still had some leftover so I placed all remaining material in the side panels and fenderwells of the bed and YES, that did do something. I had some serious rattles in there when driving over speed bumps and I knocked that noise down considerably. I honestly wouldn't mind doing a more thorough job back there in the future if I ever want to waste some time and money.

Anyway, as for the real project and not the afterthoughts, here is what went down.

The doors got Damplifier Pro on the exterior and partially on the interior skin. Also received Overkill Pro and some Luxury Liner at the base of them. (Could be butt-dyno effect, but I swear stock speakers have a little more bass to them).

The rear wall and under the rear seat both received Damplifier Pro and Luxury Liner Pro.

The ceiling received Damplifier Pro and Heat Wave Pro. Main goal here was to stop the tin-can sound every time it rained! Luckily it was raining this morning so I tested it out on the drive into work and can say that was easily accomplished. Now I just hear the rain hitting the windshield. And like anyone who has done this type of project before, you know how annoying that is! Every time you kill a noise, you magically discover a new noise somewhere else that was previously overpowered by the one you just got rid of.
