Update. I got the new meats today!! They look mean. They actually ride smoother than the BFG All Terrains did. There is some noise, but I likey. I think the 33 is a better size.

The Icons came in to. Colony Tire wanted like 400 bucks to install them tho. So I said hellz to the no. I'll do it myself when I find the time.

I was under the truck today getting some numbers for leaf packs and noticed a couple of things. I had been thinking about getting a CB Drop and apparently I already have one.

And I noticed a bit of rust. It doesn't look like too big of a deal. Do you think I should worry about it?

So here is an update. My friend's dad and I put my coilovers on Friday night. It took about 3 hours. I found it funny that Colony Tire said it would take them between 4 and 5 hours. Anyway, it went pretty smooth. Her dad is a jeep guy, but I don't hold that against him.:D He knows his stuff and saved me 400 doll hairs. The only thing that got on my nerves was that we figured that Colony Tire torqued my lug nuts to over 150 ft lbs. It pissed me off!!! I broke a ratchet and then when used a torque wrench to see what they were torqued at, and broke that too. The only other thing that gave us a problem were them damn cotter pins in the tie rod ends. They are so tideous to get out. Here are a few pics. I learned a lot and saved money, so it was a good day.

I appreciate bro. As you can tell the above pics, I am not a small dude. I needed the space. Your truck is pretty sick too.

Thanks man! UCAs arent necessary with the different spindles, but its something i am lookin into for the future.

I thought that if you lift your truck 3+ inches, it will require you to change out your UCA's. Your lift is a 6" lift correct? What kind of spindles are you running? Sorry for the questions. Just been doing a lot of reading different threads on this forum and i'm just trying to understand it all. Thanks.

No problem man. Thats what we're here for is to help each other out. I have a drop bracket lift. I have a different cross member and everthing up front, including spindles. My spindles are approx. 4.5 longer than stock ones (IIRC). Therefore, I dont have to have new ucas. they would be nice, but they arent necessary bc my suspension geometry is close to stock bc of the longer spindles. I hope this clarifies just a little. Let me kno if you have any more questions.

Thanks for the information. I appreciate it. This forum has been really helpful. What kind of spindles do you have on your truck? Are spindles only for non 4x4 trucks? Thanks.

I have the fabtech spindles that came with my lift kit. Spindles are the best way to lift prerunners over 3" and they cant be used on 4x4s without a drop bracket bc of the extreme angles put on the cv axles.

Bought one of these today and installed it. I can feel the extra 200 horses!!! It is nice to not have to buy another one though. According to K&N, I won't have to buy another one til my truck has 1,073,000 miles on it...
