New Billies and Springs?

Alright here's my deal. I flipped my '97 Ranger, scrambled for a new car, was gonna need a loan for anything I got, fell in love with a '06 Tacoma TRD Sport, Seller was a jack@ss, found an amazing '06 SR5 that I could make my own, Seller was an awesome dude!

For starters it came with an ARB Deluxe, without the Fog housings on stock suspension. It feels like I'm riding in a boat.... Original thoughts were to put on some Billies up front with the stock Springs, JAndrews pampered me with his ICON setup and I totally want to copy/one-up him.

After some deliberation money came to be a factor at the moment, except I got some tax money in my hands. I would now like to go with Billies up front still but wrap them in new springs (I've read some about 885, 886, and Eibachs), Any issues with just doing the front, any suggestions?. It's mostly my long haul/daily driver, with the occasional weekend wheeling. I'm not looking for more than 2" of lift as I don't have the Rear leaf TSB done.

If you wanted to lift, you could get a rear aal for about 80 bucks. But in the front, I would not go for separate coils and springs because instination is so much more compared to already put together shocks and coilovers like the icons you were talking about. Also the icons have on of the best rides out there. There is currently a group buy on it too. http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/gro...-increase.html Nice truck by the way!!

I'll be installing myself, my time is not worth a whole lot when used by myself.. Also money is the biggest factor here or else I would have ICON.. (*waves at ICON G/B*)
Thanks!

Question 2 Inch lift with ARB....

I am looking at putting 5100's with either 885, 886, or eibach 1.6" coils on. I don't have an AAL or TSB done on the rear, so I'm only looking for about 2" on the front. What amount of lift did you get with your setup? Please post answers here!

Wheelers lists:
*OME 885 Tacoma Front Coil Set Provides approx 1.75" lift on stock Tacoma's.
*OME 886 Tacoma Front Coil Set Provides approx 1.75" of lift on a Tacoma with a Bull Bar and Winch.

ARB lists:
*2 Inch 05+tacoma Stock Kit (885+N140S)
*2 Inch 05+tacoma Heavy Kit (886+N140S)

Toytec lists:
*885--- Medium 2" lift coils for 110 lbs additional front weight
*886--- Heavy 2" lift coils for 200+ front weight -- No top plate spacer needed--

Other people (not pointing fingers):
*The 886's give 3" lift with a bumper and winch.
*Eibach 1.6" give that lift unladen, and on Extended cab trucks.

Thank you SockMonkey and TC Bob!

I had a small fight with the wind... It wiped the decal out of my hand and slapped it on the truck... A heat gun and razor was quite helpful!
