Nice build! you have a lucky wife, and you are a lucky man to have a wife with good taste in trucks!

Quick question about where you mounted the air tank.. you cant still fit the spare tire can you? looks like the air tank is in the way but if you can fit both that would be good to know.. lol
    thanks.

Thanks! She is a great wife so she deserves the best :D Funny you should ask about the spare, we just finished changing a flat. Stupid me didn't have the spare in the truck and we were 70 miles from home with the spare in the garage. I even said on the way to Denver I should have threw the spare in the bed this morning. Errrr! I even bought a spare rim and a full size spare. I never put it back in the bed after helping he aunt move last weekend. She must have ran over a chunk of metal cuz there is a 1" gash in a lug, so it was a pretty big chunk of something! But to answer your question is no I'm pretty sure. I haven't tried since I am going to build a tire carrier/hi-lift mount soon, I guess just not soon enough!

We are getting anxious for some sliders and bumpers, be sweet if we had some! :D As they say "good things come to those who wait"!

Couple updates, Walmart replaced the tire or should I say are replacing the tire, still waiting for it to come in. Nice to have the $10 road hazard. Also when I took the tires off to weld on tge bumpstops found a cross-threaded lug, we showed it to them and the sent us to a shop down the street to get fixed. Had to leave the truck there over night to get it fixed but It got done with no hassles.
I actually got something done on the truck too. Between spring yard work, rain and laziness I haven't gotten much done. Last week I got the back rail cut and drilled. It's going to be the base of the tire carrier. Going to fab a couple temporary light tabs and a cb antennae mount. Just going to use the bolts to hold em on for now. I haven't wired anything yet and I want to do it all at once. I have to wire bed lights, driving lights, CB, auxiliary 12 volt outlet for the bed and the OBA system. Today I drilled a hole and installed the Daystar boot and ran the air line in the cab for the pressure gauge.
Daystar boot under passenger side rear seat back.

Thanks man! I sure hate doing things twice and paying more the second time or having to redo something.

Thanks, it sure seems to draw a lot of attention when she drives it. People are cracking their necks to look ay it all the time.

I got a bit more done. Made a couple light tabs and installed a switch for the bed lights. I also mounted a 12v socket in the same cubby as the light switch. A little bit more wiring and stage 1 will be complete! :D
On a side not we finally got the tire in from Walmart. Just had to pay $10 for it. The cheap road hazard is the whole reason we got the tires from Walmart and it totally paid off.

Light bar still in mock up.

Thanks guys! That's quite the complement Norcal, there are a ton of great builds on here! Here are a few pics from a couple weeks ago testing the suspension a bit.

Yea, I'll take yer 5 lugger for a bit. You wouldn't mind if I took it off some sweet jumps would ya? :D

It's not real loud, but it has a fairly deep tone. The sound matches the truck a lot better with the lift and tires that it did stock! I don't think the tip cut like that makes much difference in the sound much if any. I just had it cut like that so it won't get smashed by rocks (hopefully).
