nice set up!

 

I bought mine with it on there, but my truck has Terra Grapplers at 285/65/18 with very little rub. I get rub for a couple seconds when I'm making a turn in a marking lot.

Just my 2 cents about the tire on the truck with no lift.

 

Ok well since I have sold this truck to my dad, he has done quite a good bit to it so I will show its current state here.

The modlist now includes the following:

6 inch Fabtech Lift w/Dirtlogic Coilovers
ARB Front Winch Bumper
Smittybuilt XRC8 Winch
Body Armor 4x4 Rear Bumper w/Tire Carrier
American Racing Wheels/ 34 inch BMG KM2's
Predator Sidesteps

So, there haven't been any updates to this thread in a while but there have been many changes so it is time for an update.

Recently, the following has all been done:

-Removed the Kobalt tool box (get back some bed space)
-Moved the Diamond ham antenna to the front bumper and fabricated some bed rail mounts for dual CBs
-Removed the tire gate and moved the spare into the bed
-Added an ARB High Output compressor under the hood
-Added an ARB air locker in the rear diff
-Regeared the diff to 4.56 nitro gears
-Added Firestone Airbags w/Daystar Airbag Cradles

All of this was done to facilitate towing the newest toy to the trails, an 1983 Toy Pickup which we have converted to propane and done sliders/bumpers/etc to.

The fill valves for the air springs were installed to part of the tow hitch. We found that about 70 psi in the air bags would have the truck sitting dead level even with the truck and trailer attached up.

 

what was you process in doing the rear bumper?? wanting to do that soon
