what did you use to pait your grill?

 

My color matched grill was done by a local paint shop but all the mesh is just krylon fusion spray paint

 

Is your grill peeling or chipping at all? Do you know if the shop stripped the chrome off first before paint? Mine Is chipped bad. They didn't even prep it before they sprayed It. So its shitty. I'm getting It re painted in the next couple weeks hopefully tho.. IF its even worth it.

 

Yeah, as soon as I get the finishing touches done on it and get it painted I'll post up pictures. and hell yea man, I love installing shit on these trucks whether they are mine or not.

 

About an hour ago here at work I ran into a fuckin family of camel spiders. I'd take this guy over those any day! I FUCKING hate spiders! Especially camel spiders the size of your hand! lol

 

my grill on there is from partsgeek and it was originally a stock sr5 grey paint. im sure they sanded it and primed before painting. the paint was not an exact match when in the sun but its damn close and has held up pretty damn good.

Camel spiders arent so bad, we had tons of them in Afghan. They are actually more like giant ants haha

 

Im really hoping my bumpers show up tmrw, it cant take that long to get from CA to Tucson for fastenal.... if anything tho, I aint doing anything Saturday until maybe some tailgating at UofA so we should be able to break into them. cant remember his name at the moment but theres a new guy, 4x4taco from LA that needs some headlight help as well. When I get my rigid d2s, switches, and a new blue sea fuse block ill talk to your buddy
