Are you gonna just use canvas and make a custom soft top?

Just wondering why you were thinking of getting rid of the best top? I have been wanting to do the same thing you have with the rack over it. Any cons with that set up?

COG and Wind Resistance to start with. I am thinking of getting a lower rack like Bob's and go with this style of RTT:

Hey Bob, what are you running for rock lights? Still the broken LED strips or have you fixed it since the 2012 Moab thread? haha

I have 2 5m rolls that I want to run down the sides and just looking for some good ways to mount them.

Do you have pics of this? haha I was thinking about sticking them up on the cab just outside the frame, but it is covered in mud so first muddy trip I get into is just going to cover them over...

When I was searching build threads, a lot of people mention they have rock lights, but no pics of them...

I have two strips along my running boards and 10 led pods between the front and back.

The strips are a good cheap option it's hard to beat.

Throw some rtv on the ends and they'll stay for a while.

I don't night wheel enough to go too high roller.

Did you just peel the old strips off and put the new ones in the same spot?

Sorry no real install pics. I just followed the outside edge of the frame an body from the ARB up front to just before the rear axle (still need to install one more strip around the back). They have worked great so far. Lost about a foot on one side but other then that they are fine. Here is a pic of them working.

    Like a foot just died?

And how much of the 5m rolls did you use? Was that a whole roll on each side?

They are the 16ft. rolls you buy from Ebay. They are designed in a manner that 1 foot increments can be cut off. I figure that is why the last foot on the drivers side might have died. I think they were about $18 shipped. What the hell are meters? :p

I already have the strips haha. Just trying to figure out where to put them basically. I have six 16.4 ft rolls (Happy Gramps? ;) haha) Mine can all be cut into 3 light strips that are probably 2-3" long.

You will only need 3. What color did you get? I need one more cool white roll(accidentally got soft white for my last roll) want to sell one? :)
