I'm glad to hear it's taken time. I love your build but I'm a little jealous. Being 7.5 years behind makes me feel better

    Nice build Bob !
I'm curious about the Bushwacker Flares ..... Did you get any more clearance with them ? Or do they just give you more of a pocket for protection ?
If that makes any sense ? ..... Flare out , and up ? Or just out ?
They look really good .... Would you do it again ?

flare out...they're all cut up for the larger tires though

clearancing came before when i cut my factory fenders

i almost have my tires covered now :D

won't go anywhere now either as they're bolted in with 36 bolts into the metal fender

always been on my list, but down on the list..did it after a raffle prize trade after Rock Therapy last year (thanks jace  )

sytfu510 had done something very similar with a different brand that is slightly cheaper...

overall i like them...definitely changes your road manners

combined with my Camburg uppers, you feel everything...there is also some added bump steer...

but they're stout as fuck and are willing to take a beating...

so 45 days to get the trucks wrapped up...my list is short luckily...big item is a new clutch and tranny that is going in this week, but besides that, nothing huge...

LCE clutch & new OEM transmission
    rock light replacements
    ARB Fridge mount and re-wire
    Plano cases on the roof
    repaint bed rack and armor
    spark plugs

the FJC on the other hand :bananadead:

    PrInSu Designs FJ Roof Rack
    finish up winch mounting
    resistor on LED blinkers
    Hi-lift mount
    Maxtrax mounts
    Snorkel install
    New battery(ies)
    re-wire accessories & 2nd battery
    rock lights
    tcase, tranny and diffs fluids
    spark plugs
    and possibly suspension (c/o & rear shocks/springs)

still more planned for both after our spring trips, but these are the necessities...

Didn't know you had an FJ. Just had a look at the build thread for it and it looks good! I prefer the Taco though :D Why have both? Is one driven by a significant other or something?
