thanks, the setup did great...need to mess with my rear bumps a little bit to get the most out of my cycle, but overall it's a nice setup...crawl box would be the only change i'd want, but i'm broke right now so that's not happening unless i sell my motorcycle haha!

yea, JW's rig is quite the impressive beast...for some reason i thought he was on 37s, but his 36s (35.5s really) did amazing for sure...strong ass tires and that little bit of clearance paid off in a few spots...seeing the crawler in action was probably the most bad ass thing i've seen in a while

if i had to do it again, and had a little more money i'd go crawler with stock gears...but gears saved tons of money over the crawlbox and have been one of the best mods i've done to the truck

picked up a new set of headlights...

while out in moab my shroud on my projector decided to fall off, so some surgery is needed on my passenger headlight...

figure while i had it apart i'd swap out the clear lens for a newer, non-sun beaten lens

current one is all faded and the protection is pealing off..

question is...while i have it apart, should i throw a halo ring around them....hmmm

    on a different note...

doing a few things to my bike...

had a tail light bulb go out so it opened up the idea of a new tail light...

    smoked with integrated LEDs

got a zero gravity blacked out windscreen coming, HIDs to be ordered (5000k) and tint the headlight once the HIDs are in to a smoke

    should look sick

haha...sale thought passed after i had to drop a few hundred to fix a major leak..

tore the engine apart to replace a centrifugal breather, seal and cam cover gasket...

while shit was apart i regeared, then the thought of selling got pushed even further away when my fiancee decided she's fine with staying in Colorado til 2013 :D

so now that i'm happy with how my truck looks...focus now turned to the bike

Haha damn bob! Glad you got it all taken care of.

My triumph is a sprint st 1050. Right now it's missing the right side fairings because I had a charging system problem. Checked the alternator and one of the wires was snipped 3/4s of the way through. This is a month after it had an annual service at the triumph dealership.. So I'm not sure what to think of it. The corrosion on the ends of the wires leads me to believe that it's been like that for a while.
I soldered the wire back together for the time being, but I'm going to order a new alternator when I have an extra $200. ( just had to pay my truck insurance  )

The only problem I have with the light output of my bike's headlights is that the projector beam cutoff dips down when I enter a sharp turn so I can't see the turn where I'm going. I'd like to add some small fog lights eventually

so you already have projectors in there? that's a good point to bring up...

i'm thinking of just going to DDM to get HIDs to fit in the normal bulb placement first (only $40 for ballast, wiring and bulb) and see how i like it. maybe it'll be better for function based on the complaint you just raised. seems like with just the HID bulb in the normal setting it'll project light like crazy and should leak up higher than it would with projectors...

but with the projectors you could always ride with the highs on in those situations...i know with my truck i have my lows set pretty low to help with oncoming traffic, but the highs are ridiculously high...

driver rear shock sent back to DSM...they're hookin it up for me so to save a headache and buying the oil and a couple new tools i shipped it over to marco to do the job proper..

got my new taillight on the bike installed...so much better! just gotta figure out the LED turn signals now...the bike has a +&- for each turn signal from the original dual turn signal setup and the new light only has 2 wires for the turn signals...looks like one for each turn..so i guess i need to ground the bike wire and hook the + together? i ran out of time so i put that to the side for now..still need some LED side markers and a new relay so some time til that project is done

got a blacked out zero gravity windscreen for the bike installed yesterday! HIDs (DDM 5000k motorcycle kit) ordered, front headlight smoke tint arrived the other day...so my front lighting project will begin soon..

got new-to-me headlights sitting at home to begin my headlight revamp project...had a shroud fall in moab, so i have to take it apart to fix that. while it's apart i'm going to swap out the passenger clear plastic due to the current one showing bad signs of age. my driverside housing has a broken tab that i may fix with a swap as well...

license plate flip mount has been ordered and LED plate lights are en route, so my bumper is closer to being finished!

think that's it for now... :playball:
