I'm down. We should have a mini mod day. We can paint your fenders, then in between coats we can work on rerouting my air? Only thing is I'm not sure how long this weather will hold up before it gets cold and wet. No bueno for painting

Looks like forecast is for rain starting tomorrow. Not sure what's after that but probably cooler weather.

I think they work great. I have them HID retrofitted so they aren't the regular Hellas. I've only had to use them a few times, but they've worked great every time. There was an instance where I was leaving the Tahoe National Forest at 5AM and it was pitch black. I pointed the outside lights toward the outside and the middle one I kept straight and it really helped me get out of there safely.

I missed having the bass in my truck, so I put some back in. Kind of similar to what I had before, but takes up less space so I can store more stuff back there.

For the amp, I just bolted it right on the back of the cab. I tapped into the cab for the top 2 screws, then used rivets for the bottom two (intended to hopefully deter theives).

Nah I actually found someone selling the box and sub for $120. I didn't wanna put in the time of building another box, and the price was right, especially for a Mr. Marv box. The amp was from my previous set up. So I really didn't spend much overall.

Finally getting around to posting this. I wanted to mount my solenoid under the hood somewhere, but couldn't find any space. So I ended up making a battery tray that would hold my battery vertical, to leave space for the solenoid right next to it. I had to extend all of the wires from the solenoid, then finally got to wire it all up at last weekend's mod day.

1" lip around the battery to hold it in
    [IMG]

this little tab screws onto one of the fusebox bolts
    [IMG]

this is what is going to hold the solenoid

What are your plans for winching now? pop the hood, plug in, then close the hood on the wire?

Personally, I'm installing mine behind the grill next to the passenger side Headlight.
Removing the remote plugin connector, elongating the leads, then mounting it elsewhere./ or getting the Warn Remote kit/.

It's actually recommended to have the hood open in some instances. If that line snaps, it doesn't come through your windshield and out your rear window, hurting anything and everything in between (like other passengers).

    True. Cable vs synthetic.

In my case, I normally am alone when recovery needs to take place. So I need the visibility. But safety first.

    Good stuff man/
