 this should be interesting. when they bought a second building about 2 years ago, it was a huge clusterfuck with delayed orders and everything. hopefully they've learned, and this move will go smoother.

Oh well, don't think I'm gonna do the AAL until I get coil overs.

I know you've mentioned a pre-wheeling op checklist, do you have a copy of that you can share?

    Good list. i'd also put:
-retorque anything that has been installed after the prior wheeling trip (even if it's already been retorqued)
-if your alignment is good, mark where the alignment cams are, so you can realign if you knock it out (asuming nothing is bent in the process)
-ADD actuator test. AKA-make sure it actually goes into 4wd.
-retorque the 6 front bolts that hold on the bumper. never had a problem with the 2 bottom bolts, but i've had the a couple if the front ones vibrate loose. locktite on them now.
-check slider to frame welds (if sliders are welded on)
-check catch can level, and empty if needed. a half full catch at 30 degrees off camber can dupm oil into your engine and snap, crackle, pop the innards....
    -check coolant/brake/steering/windshield fluid levels
-i have a lot of extra wiring under my truck, so i like to crawl under and verify that non if it has somehow come loose and gotten near the exhaust or any moving parts.
-I don't do this every time, but a couple of times a year, check your bed bolts and body mount bolts. i've had both loosen up on me before.
-winch line condition. i usually jsut inspect the first 15-20 feet. that's all that's really exposed to the elements, and is about as far as my wired remote will go
-Check carrier bearing for excessive play.
-ever since i melted a fuse (without it popping), pop the cover off of the blue sea, and make sure all of the fuses are in good condition.
-clean off any corrosion on the battery terminals
    -check fire extinguisher level
-check condition of all other safety/recovery gear that perminately resides on the exterior of the truck (hi-lift, traction ramps, shackles, etc)
-check gas cap for proper function. sounds stupid until you blow out the ratchet on it and can't tighten or losen it. happened on my parent's old sequoia.

What an incredible idea! toss a couple of rechargable LiIo computer backup batteries in there and you've got a long crazy bright, long life flashlight. a flood on there would be great for a campsite light too! definitely doing to have to do this. i think i have some good batteries laying around that would be perfect

Hey Colin, wanna build a roof rack?

Three hoops, five cross bars. The 2nd from the back will be removable to allow the tire to flip from above the rack to below the rack via ruffstuff clamps. The middle bar will have internal pipe sleeves so that it can rotate.

That's the main design feature, but there will be more goodies on it. :D
