I usually just go with the biggest one they make, but last time I did that, I ended up taking home a 120 qt that could hold 3 bodies.

if you are going to use it for an entire long weekend, i'd at least get the 45.

Okay cool. Going out to lazy springs for a weekend so that would probably be it for me and I'm not ready for arb fridge yet. I feel like it would sit more than it would get used if I got it.

only ever used the flat flappers. don't know if i've ever had a need for a rounded one with sand on the top and bottom.....however if i had one, i'm sure i could find a use for it :p

    thing's probably $15 a pop though.

Think about getting into tight corners to profile a fillet weld. :D

This one was $12, so I'll use it sparingly.

i've just used very light pressure with a cuttoff wheel to prep for or clean off welds in tight corners :anonymous:

i know 4.5'' grinder and precision aren't typically found in the same sentance, but i've gotten pretty good at doing so over the last few years.

Thinking about getting one of these to put under the tool box. 15 spare gallons. would use it as a transfer tank only, not to actually run the truck from. meaning that it will either be completely full or completely empty. fill her up, and then when i need the spare fuel, flip a switch to a pump for a few minutes, and boom, full tank again.

When my Dad had his boat we did the same thing with a 50g tank on the deck for long range tuna trips.

oh i know. After the trip to PINS i realized i need to have a better way to secure a lot of gear. I have been brainstorming some ideas for the bed of my truck. I am thinking about an elevated level about 12" tall with storage underneath and so i can sleep on top with the truck cap on. And a rack system with maybe 1" or 3/4" square tubing for mounting accessories( shovel, airtank, fire extinguisher, fishing rod holders) and lots of points for strapping items down.

I broke a few fishing rods on the trip

I don't, most likely something from West Marine or the like. Spark/explosion proof of course.

I need to find a similar tank that has the fill on the side, not the top of the tank. I probably won't find an off the shelf tank though. I'll have to have one made.
