yeah... you're a little far for a weekend trip

But i am hoping to make road trip out west in the next 1-2 years and wheel everywhere along the way.

indeed. a very cold blast however. I left my phone outside the tent the first night. checked it at about 3am and it read 13 degrees. damn whiskey had ice floating in it when we woke up

I thought it seemed off when i uploaded my pictures  even missing the corner piece :(
    [IMG]

I'm sorry the morning went so slow. I had no idea that many trucks were in the other group. we had a good time when we broke off of them, but that morning was brutally tedious.

    me too buddy, next time.
getting some more garage time in tmorrow afternoon, updates to come shortly after.....

maybe it's just an older modle, but that's a different radio based on the pictures. count the knobs and look at the layout of the display. different mic too. the picture on the next page is a little clearer for comparison.

at least the proken parts are plastic i gues........weld away.

The one you posted is just the model above his. PM him about it, he did a lot of research on why he chose the one he did over this one.

Rough up the surfaces and use ABS Epoxy. Better for that application...;)

Think I choose mah radio cause the size, and color. Wanted to mount it in the dash and it was a lil smaller than the green one :D any bigger and it wouldn't work where I have it. Uniden is the way to go tho, they made cobras back in the day. ;)
