they measure 16/32'' at the lowest point i could find. originally 19/32''.

so with 2-3/32'' wear per 10,000 miles, and the wear bars being about 2/32'', these should last somewhere between 50 and 60 thousand miles when accounting for tires wearing faster as they age and lose moisture.

so pretty much, your tire pressures are right on for good tire life.

Sweet, thanks for the info. The discount tires shop pumped them to 34 front/36 back so I added a bit more PSI to them when I got home. I'm surprised these are so grippy yet last a decent amount of miles. The guy I got my alignment done at was telling me he was digging the tires and how soft and grippy they felt and tried to tell me not to expect a lot of life out of them. I told him they probably average about 50k and he wouldn't believe me haha.

    35's :O? Did you wait 6-8 weeks?

they are indeed very soft and grippy tires, which is why so many people are coming to love them (other than they are dirt cheap of course).

part of the reason they last so long though is that short of a super swamper or other interco tire, they have a deeper thread depth than just about anything out there.

Oh, didn't know that. I can't wait to really test them next month at a trail run a local guy set up. Going to be airing them down and seeing how sticky they are :D What PSI did you air down to usually for dirt/rocks, no sand or mud? And does it differ between 17/16 sizes? I've never had a 33" tire before so I'm going to guess 15psi is what I'd want.

    Oh, not so bad.

i have automatic tire deflators set to 15psi. they vary +-1psi, so if you're setting them by hand, 14-16psi has worked well for me. i've run as low as 6psi in deep snow. with 16s, you may want to keep it closer to 8psi for real low pressures, since the slightly larger sidewall will roll the bead easier.

That's a sweet idea and placement. The only draw back is you would have to make sure you park your truck in the direction theat gets most sun light. But that's not that hard, I would much rather have it there were no one can steal it or get damaged wheeling

Random thought. I have a sunroof that I don't use. Do you think there'd be a way to incorporate the solar panels to be mounted under the window so access to sunlight is more easily achieved?

under a sunroof would be a great location. all you have to do is figure out how you want to mount them.

-9 IR LED'S night vision and excellent low lux performance
-Built-in distance scale lines with trapezoid electronic ruler function"

i just ordered from Amazon, but the cameras are technically back up cameras. the 3 way selector is for plugging multiple video games/dvds/etc into a tv, and the camera is just a generic 12v automotive display for an in-car dvd setup. you could probably find most of the stuff at best buy or radio shack.
