damn...that sucks. i had an epic old chinese limo company owner crack mine

its alright. it does squeak though a bit, especially nowadays. if you listen real closely you can hear it squeak, but my truck rattles and shakes so much it doesn't really matter to me lol

i DO have a switch for it, in the cab, so i don't need to wake up the neighbors at 3 in the morning when i come home lol

yo is that cravenspeed stubby worth it? is the recepttion still good with it? gonna get some pics when i get my URD SS and new shift knob. then the interior will almost be done unless i get some recaro buckets one day haha, also when i get an indash navi.

 

honestly. it's not that great lol. no where near stock. but i think mostly because i live and drive in urban/mountain/valley areas. my house is in a valley so i don't catch like half of the channels that i did before with the stock antenna, but once i get out of the valley it's not too bad. but for a shorty antenna it's actually really good, compared to some of the other's i've seen, and for it's size. but i listen to my iPhone most of the time anyway so yah...lol i pretty much did it for looks.

oh shit haha. well what do you think about going s2000 stubby and converting the internals to fit our trucks? have you heard about the reception of those? i like how buckets are like 800 bucks haha. too much for my budget right now. maybe i will make a small build thread of the interior mods i have done so far

 

the S2K antenna's from what ive heard aren't that great either, unfortunately. couple people i know have them on their x's and it's about the same as the cravenspeed, but its longer, harder to do and more expensive. i do like the look of it though. the cravenspeed is REALLY short. id say around half the length of the s2k one.

yah buckets are redics i was looking at a pair of corbeaus and those things are hella expensive. and i don't even want to imagine shipping.

 

hahahaha. yeah i was thinking corbeau or recaro. i looked at both. and they are like 400 a seat with the correct brackets
