Since I won a mismatched pair of lights from Blitzpro I decided to add them as reverse lights.

A lot of the light from the Hawk 6D on diff is blocked by the spare tire and the fact that it's so far under the truck.
I'm thinking of getting another one of each and mounting two Hawk 6Ds up front and the other 6LZ above the rear license plate.

Can you snap some daytime photos of how you have the lights mounted. I put the 6LZ where the stock trailerplug is. Fits nicely

I wanted mine to be safe from getting hit while on road or off (I've seen people drag the receiver & I've dragged my bumper before I added the receive).
I'm thinking of getting another one of each & putting the 2nd 6LZ on the top of the license plate holder and the 2 Hawk 6Ds up front.
The 6LZ is mounted to the shell window frame just above the glass.

The Hawk 6D is mounted to the silver (zinc coated steel) metal band I bent to fit from to the two tabs on the axle that hold the brake line.

Looks good. I was initially thinking of putting the 6LZ above the license plate but you'd have to modify the bed it looked like to fully open the tailgate.

It would also be sick if you could mount it between the bumper and the top of the trailer hitch. Tuck it up out of the way

    Yesterday I tested the Dakars.
For those of you wondering what the Dakars can handle it's a lot.
This is 126 25lb retaining wall blocks 3,150lbs (1 1/2" from bump stops). Load is not centered over axle or all the way forward in bed. The truck would have gone a lot less Bro if I had loaded it all the way forward.

This is 48 25lb retaining wall blocks 1,200lbs centered over axle (3 1/2" from bump stops). Rides is a lot better with the 1,200lbs than it was with 3,150lbs. The front was a little light with the 3,150lbs.

lol i had about 700 lbs in mybed and you couldn't tell really so a couple hundred lbs over that wouldn't be a big difference... but that 3k lbs is pretty massive lol... pretty cool to know my plastic bed won't break though I've been concerned about that since I got it...

How are your UCA's holding up with the 3 inch lift?

UCAs are stock & fine. CVs are fine. I got 3" before adding armor then lost 1/4" front & rear by adding sliders, then lost 1/2" front by adding a full set of skids. Added 1/4" top plate spacers to regain 1/2" up front so now I'm at 2 3/4" front & rear.

Welcome to TW Toyota59. I'm honored to have your 2nd post in my build thread.
On the manual not too bad. On some of the hills I did in 5th and lost 1 to 2 mph on cruise control I now need to drop it into 4th. On some of the hills I had to drop into 4th I now drop it into 3rd.
If you have a long commute I would get 265/75/16s or like I did get a 2nd set of wheels to put 255/85/16s on.

That's not to bad. I live in the mountains of North Carolina, that's the only reason I was worried. I'm running 265/75r16's right now and love them. So getting a second set is a good idea. Thanks for the info 4wheeling4banger.

Also I wanted to ask, do you think running 255's will cause any other components on my truck to wear faster than normal without regearing?

Your break pads & shoes are going to wear out faster, but regearing won't help that.
