I have a 2005 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner Access Cab TRD Off Road Silver with an auto trans! I love it so far and have had it for over a year. My first mod was painting the mirrors and handles(including the tailgate handle) all to match the truck! Lemme just say it has made a world of difference!!!

the plastic piece is just a snap in so you can literally just pull it off after you unscrew the shifter knob! as for taking off the center console i have done but dont remember the order everything comes off at. it was really simple once i got going though!

I love my truck man. I hear about modding and highschool, what i did was do a lot of small or somewhat inexpensive stuff first, while saving up for bigger things. I started with the other aspect of the truck, instead of doing sound systems like all my friends were doing, i spent my money on suspension, wheels and tires. I was pretty much the only kid at my tiny highschool with a truck that didnt look stock, lol

Yeah, originally my truck was supposed to go under my name when we bought it, but insurance would have been ridiculous! So it's in my dads name for now. When I first wanted a lift his response was, "it's your truck, I don't mind, but if you break something your paying for it", haven't broken anything suspension related yet.....knock on wood:D, and thats probably because I don't skimp when it comes to buying suspension stuff, thats why it's taken so long to get it to where it is now, it takes me a long time to save up enough money.
