Great build thread and a awesome truck!
Just a thought, maybe we need to open a Stormtroopers thread
I just got mine Oct 13,14 and plan to hold off on the real serious mods until the warranties out and then....
Anyway, still have my 1st gen '98 to beat on for now, until I sell it and put the money into my "Stormtrooper"

Started my center caps today at work. still working on the little Stormtrooper touch..

 

list-o-shit of things I want to try and get done this weekend..

secure/fix possible leak in drip molding on roof near rear of cab.
install new light bar mounts
install new HID bulbs
fix rattle in B pillar
adjust, check, and torque front end
figure out some odd engine sounds at idle
regular tlc/maintenance (check fluids, MAF and throttle body, etc)
try and clean the truck up a bit

thinking once i go permanent here at work, Im gonna treat the truck to a nice wash, wax, clay bar, shampoo, etc inside and out.. havent washed the thing in about 8 months.

just need to get back to a point where i actually enjoy it again.. to much shit to fix or tweak.. takes away from the enjoyment. been stressing me out especially with this paycut at work.. havent been able to do anything. hopefully nothing is in too bad of shape from neglect.

 

Saturday morning we will take the front ends apart and really torque everything!

Got my 3" lift done today and installed my Body Armor rear bumper last weekend!
Also got my new decal set, I'm debadging the truck and replacing with black vinyl- no wax build up!
Oh, also got new bedside decals, check these babies out, gonna install them ASAP

ok. so got some stuff done to the truck on Saturday with the help of Pattycakes..




Finally installed the new Relentless mounts, hopefully fixed a possible leak, torqued the entire front end, lowered the driver side Coilover a tad, and both Pat and I did this cheap yet AMAZING mod..

my steering and truck in general feels brand new. its incredible what this little mod did. I drove 400+ miles over the last 2 days and its night and day difference. sooo much better.. sooo much happier.

also discovered the possible culprit of my slop issues ive been experiencing in the front end. my UCA bushings seem to be shot.



I plan on upgrading these soon anyways, so that should solve all the issues.. between those and that steering column fix at least.
