    I love driving! Lol

The silver surround where the cup holder is located.. firmly pull up. I used the cop holder itself as a grab point. Then separate the chrome piece.

    Lol. Thanks guys.

Yeah the previous owner added the a/c.. he had in ceiling speakers as well.. that I did the 110v to 12v conversion and am using the car headunit to run a couple Sony Xplods in them now.

Just a couple more things (tv, epoxy, etc) and my garage/work shop/man cave will be complete.

    Mod days for sure..

ideally yes. lol i'll have to cut some of those out due to space.. but the bottle opener already has its own spot.. and I have a couple ideas to make it a little more fun. wash sink is also on the list.. mini fridge might be in the future as well.

Memorial Day Weekend Truck Maintenance Extravaganza... :woot:

Changing Oil tomorrow, followed by a full re-torque on every nut and bolt I can get my hands on, with some hopeful fixes.
Sunday I will be gin the process of dropping my Trans, removing the flexplate, and installing a new one in hopes of alleviating these issues I'm having
Monday will be buttoning up Sundays' work.. since this will be a lengthy and new project for me.

Take plenty of pictures during the process, so if you have any questions about where something was, you'll have a quick reference.

so ran into a small issue with the Camburg arms. DSM sent me a rebuild kit.. half way through the rebuild.. I notice some things that dont seem right. Contact DSM, they agree. they have me contact Camburg.. after some pictures and discussion.. I have the wrong rebuild kit. Going to have to partially disassemble them again.. and either order the new kit, then get a refund for the other.. or something similar. hoping it goes quickly and smoothly. so.. these wont be going in this weekend. :pout:

EDIT: Carlos at Camburg is awesome. Just need to send back the misalignment spacers, bolts, sleeves, and snap rings.. then he will send back what I need.

I cannot thank Jason @05TacoRunner enough for today. About 4 hours to remove.. an hour to reinstall.

Unfortunately... when we inspected the flexplate.. there seemed to be no visible evidence of it being the cause of my symptoms, but we swapped it out for the new one anyways. I cant fully tell if it helped or not. I still hear (although it may not be as prominent as before) the sound/issue I was experiencing before. I will be keeping an eye on it, and if anything else changes.. or it gets worse.. I'll take it into a Transmission shop for further investigation.

In the end.. I'm not mad about it. It was a great learning experience and I feel more comfortable with larger projects like this. Thanks again for the help and guidance Jason.

    new vs old.. no differences

Jason is awesome, I can't thank him enough for all the work he did on mine! Too bad that wasn't the exact issue but like you said it's a good learning experience
