Sorry if you already answered this, I didnt see it. How did you get the 8'' in the front? Did you just adjust the coilovers?? I have the same 6'' lift & want a little more.

They are adjustable silly, you use the spanner wrench to life the front 1.5 inches vs normal. Mine never gave a problem..

I know silly. I wasn't sure how that would affect the ride. Did it change it much?

Hey brother, I'm curious about the rust stopper. I am considering the same unit for my truck. I live in Pennsylvania so we see lots of salt on roads throughout winter and I'd love to keep my truck looking clean.

I'm mostly worried about the frame as I've heard horror stories on the forum. After a dip in the ocean would you typically wash the truck or at least hose it off at all? Did you do any other rust proofing? How's it holding up after a few years?

Thanks for your time, man, your truck is awesome!

I also take very good care of the truck, meaning I wash it when i get back from the beach, i never leave salt water on the truck.

    Wiz,

I assume you are still driving and loving your Tacoma. I have 2010 Tacoma with the same fabtech 6" lift with 35s. I am thinking about adding a 3 inch body lift to the 6 I already have. I would have 9 inches at that point, and I know you had a 8 front and 9 Rear. So I wanted to ask if you have ever had and problems caused by that much of a lift? Anything at all? What do you think? Go for the additional 3 inches of lift?

You or anyone have an opinion? Think the addition 3 inch body on top of the 6 inch Fab would be to much or it could cause any problems?

    Wiz,

I know you may have already gave detail on what you added to the 6 inch Fabtech lift to get 8 inches in the front and 9 inches in the rear. But do you mind sending me a quick overview on what you did? I currently have the same 6 inch performance lift with dirt logic shocks. Which gave me a total of 6 in the front and 4 in the rear (level). I was thinking about doing what you did and raising the rear up an inch or two with Deever leaf springs. 4 wheel parts said there wasn't a way to raise the front. Thanks in advance!
