Spoonman you are my hero but why did you get rid of your snorkel?

Unless you really plan on driving through deep water the snorkel is more of a poser part. I personally think the trucks look cleaner without the snorkel.

Snorkel was designed for cleaner air on dusty roads and works best for that purpose. I would do more work for water proofing before attempting deep water. http://4xforum.com/3-4x4-accessories/raised-air-intake

There are so many dirt roads here, I've gone through a few filters with only 25k miles. I can actually see a difference in the filter after installing the snorkel. If I wa lucky enough to dealt with as much snow as you do I wouldn't have mine.

With or without Spoonman you got one of the best looking and functional Tacomas I've seen I think it would look good with the snorkel because you truly have built and are still building a awsome all terrain vehicle so nothing from here on will look poser or candyass on your truck. Nice work man very nice work.

I had to take all 4 wheels apart tonight. I had a super gay vibration on the highway so I changed out my copper BBs to actual balance beads. 6.5 oz was enough to balance each tire. They wok way way better. Yet one more thing crossed off the list.

    Daisy list

    Rear bumper (grind/paint/mount)

    Limiting straps- ordered

    Ps rack(maybe)

    Clearance front

    Crawler-ordered
    (Driveshaft lengths)

    Get a cot

I've gotten a lot of stuff done. Probably crossed about 15 things of my list. Feels good man. Hopefully be ready in time for aug 30!
