So you bought it in the crate? Are you doing the final assembly?

Yep. I got my 2006 yamaha brand new the same way. Just have to put on the front wheel and handlebars.

Did you get it for cheaper that way? I worked at a Yammy dealership for a while and we charged $1k for "delivery" fees. basically putting the last few things on after taking from the crate. It was a huge ripoff, but that was one way the dealership raped every customer that came in. Sportbikes were a lot more involved, but still not worth that much.

Not much, but not bad. Plus you get a little quality time with your new girl before going out to pull her hair and ride her ragged :D

I have ridden street bikes for a while now, but have never even been on a dirt bike. Looks like a blast, but not very forgiving for guys like me with itchy throttle hands. Especially a 2-stroke 250!

You wont fit on dusy unless you are taking a different rig through. we barely made it through Swamp Lake which is in the same area.

If you ever come down as for as Southern California we should hook up and I'll take you to the Hammers or some place just as fun!

Yeah I'm worried I'll be too fat :|

You've done it? What are the restrictions? Length? I don't mind some body modifications.

Hmmm interesting. I'll talk to my buddy who did it in his aclb. Same length as yours.

Haha any plans for the current taco?

Yea I got 285/75r16 Toyo MT waiting to get mounted hopefully like next week waiting for my wheels to come In first i ordered them yesterday ill be posted some pix up can't wait :D

so far I just got icon coils up front and couple other mods for looks but I'm debating what big stuff i would like to do still just enjoying the stock truck and 4x so glad I upgraded!!

I do really want long travel because I really enjoyed doing that back home but I don't see a need for the 3.5" up here in Washington hoping to get stationed back in Cali in a couple years
