I purchased the airflow snorkel as well and am going to attempt to install it in the next day or so. In the instruction manual it says to "smear the sealant inside both ends of the elbows that attach to the body of the snorkel and the engine bay". What sealant did you use for this?

Also, when you trimmed the snorkel to keep it lower, did you trim the hat itself where the hose clamp attaches?

How hard was it to install that DO front bumper? Im looking at doing the exact bumper and wasnt sure how many hands il need or even floor jacks.

Jamie, I've got the same question. Looking at doing the install in a week or two...already bought the liquid courage to drill the holes.

use a waterproof rtv sealant. make sure to wear gloves. smear it around so it will create a good seal

then i used a black silicone sealant around the snorkel where it touches the body outside to keep water out of that area

as far as cutting to lower it...i know i cut the top of the snorkel tube to allow the hat to sit lower, at the same time i also trimmed around an inch off the bottom of the hat...when lowering it, the hat will come in contact with the bend on the top of the snorkel, so that then becomes your limiting factor on how low the hat can go..

make sure you have enough of the lower hat left to attach the clamp onto it and create a tight fit..and make sure to have a screw going through the hat and snorkel tube to prevent it from rotating or coming loose unexpectedly

I saw in another thread that you had kelly tsr's. They're on the short list of tires I'm looking at. Looking back after having MT/R's would you buy them again?
