you can maintain all your bedspace with a bed rack.....

i seen a dodge the other day with a bed rack and a dirtbike loaded, granted the bed rack was HUGE but it can be done

but Ill agree, the further away the worse itll be, more fluid to add, more power needed for output on the pressure side of things

I was looking for good ideas, people.

I think I've figured it out for now.

Yep I need to protect them. Gonna weld it onto the tire and and slider. Also going to put a piece in front of my headlights. They're vulnerable

    What flimsy one?

That's 3/16" steel(same as my other skid plates). It took more than the weight if my truck to make that bend. And I've reinforced it lengthwise so it won't be pushing up.

Need to get 1/4 inch plate maybe 1/2 but that could be overkill haha

I've never seen 1/4" tacoma skids. That would he huge. And heavy. This should hold.

ATO IFS is 1/4''. And I think you can pay a little more and get Relentless IFS 1/4'', but I might be mistaken on that one.

Or are you referring to the tranny skids?

Nah that skid is simply to protect. The tranny cooler is going elsewhere, I think I'll mount that tomorrow

How? Unless you ram into rocks at 30k, 3/16" is plenty beefy. I have dents in mine from dropping down HARD. Nothing close to "mangling" it.
