JoJack's Build

Bought my 2011 DCLB 4x4 Sport the day after Thanksgiving 2010. Finally getting some mods so figured I'd make my first build page!

Night I bought it

First mod. Picked up 16" trd wheels and painted them graphite.

Wrapped 265-75-16 mastercraft courser MTs

1.25" wheel spacers.

Installed Bilstein 5100 in front at 2.5".

Removed factory plastic to start my bumper build.

Started my bumper build on Monday night and finished up Thursday. Tell me what you think.

Started off with plate off of factory mounts.

Uprights for main tube.

Showing the bends.

Built supports for uprights.

Top bar and bottom supports.

Gotta have the hoop!

Off the truck. Needs some grinding

Fab is done. Need to powdercoat!

I've got the 4 leaf TSB springs in the back. I went with 2.5 on bilsteins bc I knew I was about to add weight with bumper. I'm gonna ride it a few weeks and remeasure but I'm pretty close to level now. My plan is that if I'm still nose high then I just need to buy a winch! Haha

Forgot to post pics of the finished bumper. Primed and bed liner on it. If and when it gets dinged up I'll look into powdercoat.

it's been a while since I've been on tw but just added a new winch to my rig. Got it as a wedding present from a good buddy. Any input on moving the control box? Should I mount it higher?

Just had a chance to remount my factory fog lights. Bought 1.75" tube brackets from ballistic fabrication. Had to splice an extra 12" of wire to make them reach. JoJack's Build-imageuploadedbytapatalk1354242484.238439.jpg

Finally decided to do something about my nose high rig. Ordered 1" blocks from low range off-road and got it done today in less than an hour. Very easy to do. The only reason I went with block not aal is I already have 4leaf tsb springs.
