I am going to attempt to reseal them once I get some free time. I have also kicked around the idea of selling them and doing the BHLM to my stockers.

Let me know how it turns out... mine should be landing tomorrow so we will find out soon enough if they leak... My thing is though, if you already have the black ebay ones, which is gloss black plastic inside I think, why not try to heat up and reseal in the same manner as the BHLM for the stockers, that way your only out one set of headlights.... just a thought.... might be facing the same dilemma myself

I should tell you that mine took on water after I went to a touchless carwash. The high pressure rinse caused the problem. Also, the metal headlight clips are garbage compared to the stock ones so be aware. They fall off just by looking at them. Then your fishing it out from your skid plate.

How do the duratechs run? Are they loud? Also, on the brack wheels you had, did you just paint them black yourself?

Late to answer....but the DuraTrac's run great. The black wheels came with the truck as part of the Rugged Trail Package.

Quiet is relative....nothing like the stockers, but I don't hear mine over the radio. My mileage is around 18 or so with them. IMO there performance out weighs the slight hum.

UPDATE: I can not recommend the GROM Bluetooth interface enough. Twenty minute install tops and very simple to use. It syncs to my phone flawlessly for streaming music wirelessly through the stock HU. I can change tracks and answer phone calls by simple pressing the track up or down buttons.

Great looking truck, clean and simple yet capable and stands apart from stock. Where did you find the FJ wheels, and were the overly expensive or fairly reasonable? I only ask because most I have found are way too much, and the lower cost ones seem like shady deals. Thanks for the post.

My truck has shiny black fenders and I wanted to paint them so they look like yours. Unless u wanted to trade?

If not, I picked up 6 black plasti-dip cans and was going to paint them but I feel like they are more gray or charcoal I just can't tell as this truck throws me off
