Wow, i've missed a lot. Your truck is looking awesome dude. Gotta love that POR15. I use it on everything now. Looking forward to seeing how my front bumper fairs this winter. How are you liking the 255's so far? Ready to actually wheel this rig next summer? :p

Haha yeah a lot has changed. I'm really hoping the por15 holds up. My rear bumper and frame are depending on it haha. Really liked g the 255, they got the same width roughly as the 265 but the height of the 285s. A lot less work needless to say.

Just itching to put it to work, can't wait. Hoping to find some snow to bash soon, looking forward to some deep snow.

Placed an order for brakes. Went with the EBC green stuff pads (7000) and the usr rotors. Got 10% off plus free shipping. Pretty happy.

Also I think I got past the break in period.

Thanks Mike. Yeah, it gets a little swirly in the summer when it thaws and becomes a massive mud pit. Winter time though it's a little bit more tame. Haha

Well with summer around the corner, another notorious list. This summer should be different however, as I wont be working my summer job, but looking for a full time job. Yea for coming out of school unemployed....

    Stuff to do includes
    electrical:
-Install LED light bar and work light , with switches below HVAC control panel
-install superwinch tigershark -->relocate solenoid, install big ass fuse (400amp)
-Clean up all wiring-->split loom, zip ties, a prayer (hate doing wiring)

    Big Maintenance items:
-Brakes (have slotted rotors and green stuff pads from EBC at home)
-at 120,000 (about 15,000k more) need coolant, tranny, brake fluid changed....maybe blinker fluid too. Think this a dealer trip, fack.
-Diffs and transfer case with amsoil (sitting in garage)

    Random:
    -Adjust bumpers
    -fix tailgate mounting holes.
-Mount external speaker for cb in cubby hole right of steering wheel
    -Clean throttle body
    -clean maf sensor
-USE IT....Hoping to get to atleast 2 or 3 trips this summer depending on finances.
    -

    And pictures.
Wheeling trip at my uncles hunting camp

How did your tires handle in all that snow?

Didn't air down and they handled very well. I was pretty surprised. Even had a hill climb that I was able to get up that went pretty well. That plus the on road drivability, love these tires.

Compared to the kevlars that I had I have been very happy with the all around performance. Offroad the kevlars really dug but that got me burried real fast. The ground clearance could also be helping me too though with the bigger size and lift lol

Lol yeah I like I'm going up another size when I need new tires again. The 35s look small now that I've trimmed the fenders. I'd love to get those mtr's but they're so dang expensive.

Your moving up again eh. I was thinking of the Interco tires in the skinny 36s but that's a ways away. Would need a lot of coin to be properly set up to run those. I am almost feeling like I need a regear with my 255's. Can't just get a regear without lockers too lol.

I was super lucky I got a deal on my kevlars when I got them. Wouldn't have had them otherwise.
What size were you thinking? 37s?

I was looking at the 36" Interco skinnies as well lol. Don't have the ability to chop as much as I need for 37s.

haha. I feel most of the issues with rubbing have to do with the width of the tires. Not saying that 36's will fit like a glove, but a 10' wide tire will fit alot easier than a 12-13".

Yeah the width being smaller will definitely help with the turning.

Nothing really exciting. Been collecting all my electrical stuff to install the winch. 1/0 cable, hear shrink, lugs , crimper, etc

Made this bracket for the solenoid box to go on the passenger side by the intake.
I'll be wrapping the edges in door trim and wrapping the wire in split loom just in case

Just need to reinforce bumper brackets and paint some stuff and almost ready to install

Little part to the winch install. Installed these plates to help strengthen up the mounting plates a little. 3/16 plate. These also helped align the bumper. I finally have more than 1/2" gap on either side. Hopefully no more rubbing.

Also I finally got around to doing this a couple weeks ago.

Ever since I got the wet okole seat covers I have been worried about tearing them when putting stuff in the back with the seats down. Well had to go get a big dog for my girlfriend so I did the platform the night before. Had to go get this guyimage.jpg
