This is for starters. >>> http://www.xr-underground.com/forum/showthread.php?t=53171

That will get you going as far as what it all looks like. That does not tell you which grade material was used though, nor some of the other parts. Such as oil feed and return components and locations. That can easily be found. Oil feed fitting MUST HAVE 1/8 BSPT male, with at least one 1/8 NPT female and one 1/8 BSPT female. If fed from the OEM oil sensor location.

Cost will vary, based on type/brand of parts used.

    Hey tor,
are you still running your factor brakes? Not that I'm having any problems with mine. I guess I'm just planning out how to spend more of my money. Looking for your opinion on less dust brake pads and rear disc conversion.

I'm still running the OEM rear drums. As I have not yet gotten around to the rear disk conversion. It will happen though. I am sure you're referring to the 4Runner rear conversion offered by www.tundraracing.com

For the fronts I have the Rotora 6 piston BBK, with slightly modified hats,to fits the Stop Tech rotors. A little cheaper and better quality than the rotors which came from Rotora. They are 355x32 mm rotors.
The expansion slots on the Rotora disks (just like on the Stop Tech's) started out as pill shape for heat expansion. After three years, they deformed to circles. That meant that the rotors could slide around, in reference to the hat. The iron rotor was softer than the aluminum hat......

Also as a note* my calipers have been phased out for their newer style. Better forging, better material. Might also encompass the rotors as well. The switch to Stop Tech was due to Made in USA, longer history of quality performance, easier to get parts and/or upgrade.

    IMAG0301_b3b6f4851dba6d5b09886116d7bacafd595afbc6.jpg

Rotora rotor. Drilled and slotted. I wish that i captured pictures of the deformed expansion slots.

    IMAG0304_d76ae3294bf032078d530cc5196b3a63726a5d5b.jpg

Where I purchased the Stop Tech rotors.

Here you can see the expansion slots in their natural form.

    20131115_181121_zpspxzvs4ix_602de353acf2e146700ba6d35bbb6c476dc8d6f0.jpg

A delicate hand with a dremel, and a set of calipers to check. Took material off of the hats for the hardware.

    20131116_171016_zpssknjf1vs_f27e2654d9fd016ff935e676e37145bbd749c2b5.jpg

And the latest issue I found prior to race day. Likely from over torqued. Luckily I had a spare set of brackets. Torque, which recently found out, is no more than 55 lb/ft.

Hey man, question about your T56. Did you you source your own parts for the conversion or use URD's housing and stuff? Wondering how you worked it all with 4wd.

Someday I hope to get rid of the stock 6 speed since I can tell the syncros are going to take a dump way sooner than i'd like. At that point it'd be nice to just swap in a t56 instead of having to put in a new trashy yota 6speed. Between now and then it'd be nice to start sourcing parts for the conversion as I can afford to do so. I couldnt find the page you had all the trans info on :pout:

    Thanks for any info man!

I've heard faint rumors that others have made the swap and transfer case addition. Not by anyone I have seen though.

There is also a T-56 Parts thread. With pretty much every nut and bolt listed. Need to link that soon.
