TORSPD: NEVR

My setup is different from the ones made by PowerFab. Mine does not have a Y-pipe, but a cross-over to merge collector.

I do plan on having the driver side header rebuilt out of 321, like the passenger side.

And since I am the only one, well actually I just sold one set, of 321 stainless header flanges, I am going to have it built with that and not mild steel.

1.75" primaries to 2.25", to 3" into turbo.

 

I might have took a gander but it was a while back, and I have the memory of a goldfish

 

oh yeah... Kind of spaced that the headers have to go to the turbo first ignore my previous statement about a y-pipe. haha

Nice setup though! I am still dying to see all of this when it's complete and how it performs! How much longer now?

Here’s my back yard effort… probably a little more agricultural then yours I imagine. All made from scrap steam pipe, I even cut the flanges off the OEM header as I am too mean to get some profile cut. I was originally going to make a true “log” style manifold for ease of fabrication but I guess I’ve ended up somewhere in between a log style and a merging collector style.

 

Tor, thanks for the info on your ecu set up, you’re a gentleman and a scholar. It’s good to know the throttle and vvt will work in parallel with an aftermarket ecu controlling the fuel and spark. You’ve saved me a quid having to buy another ecu with electric throttle control. All I need to do now is find a sync signal on one of the cam shafts. I don’t believe my Autronic is smart enough to look at the existing intake camshaft with the 3 different length pulses it gives out per camshaft revolution. I’m pretty sure I will need just a single pulse. I might have to install a sensor and target on the exhaust cam sprocket. You don’t know of an easy spot to get a single pulse by any chance?
I’ll get a photo of the fuel filter for you as soon as I can.

 

hatech has what you need and they should have a throttle by wire control module you should find lots of haltech support given your location as well
