The mods are slow right now, unfortunately. Just that part of the process with where it is.
Talking with KP Racing, the transmission internally was in terrific condition. Blocker rings were the only bad part.
Upgraded to the input shaft to the Viper input shaft, had the parts sent out to be cryo'd, shot peened, and micronited.
Provisions for the Chilton pump are being done to the casing. And keeping this T56 after all. Ended up being the wisest choice after all.
Need to get the oil cooler mounting bracket in, and I will be able to install that air-air oil cooler kit finally. After something like two years of it waiting for parts to come in.....
Unfortunately, it has come to be that another year has passed without being able to enter into The Texas Mile. However, things are looking up for next year. I am hoping to be ready for the March event. We will see.
Transmission will be back the first week of Novermber. That gives me plenty of time to get a few more things done to be ready for MSR Houston, on November 30th.
One last thing. Going to be helping Lucario Runner install his new set of URD's SPEC-U equal length long tube headers this afternoon.
