A little background I am a person with disabilities. I really messed up my back from being hit by some jackass. This past August I broke my neck in a motorcycle accident. Previously to my unfortunate events I was a mechanic and certified by 7 manufacturers. Now I'm studying to become a Special Education and Secondary English teacher. Anyway, back to the handicapable incredibuild! I sold my Audi A6 and picked up a black sand pearl 2008 SR5, regular cab, 4cyl, 4x4, 5spd with 55k on the ticker.
Stock bumper (some holes drilled into it for lights) $200, wheels and tires (265/75-16) 2 are good 2 are about shot. 150 Local sale only or shipping on your dime. PM me if you're interested.

Here she is the day I bought her! September 4 2011

Here she is the next morning I couldn't roll stock Color matched wheels! :D

    IMG_20110906_133410.jpg

3 weeks later this happened :( and the build was put on hold

    IMG_20110922_220733.jpg

It didn't stop me from Meeting up with some other members for some light off roading at 7-mile ORV
    IMG_6657.jpg

I got the brace off on November 10th and go back to modding the truck when i could first up was some more light!

    IMG_0141.jpg

Well that just wouldn't do so I got some lightforce 170 strikers for Christmas and relocated the fogs

    IMG_0447.jpg

    IMG_0455.jpg

Then came the OME lift kit It was a big debate between what springs to get because the spring rates aren't designed for the regular cab. So I spent a while on the phone with ToyTech (great people by the way) and was guided to the 885x springs because I'm getting a winch and plate bumper.

here is part of the install

how do you find the ride of the 885x coils without the weight of a bumper?

I'm not going to lie it's a little rough at first. The 885x maxed out my stock balljoint on the UCA so every time I hit a bump it would slam back down, make horrible noises and the ride was really rough. Since I put on the Camburg UCAs and the springs and shocks have broken in it rides much better.

I see that you have a regular cab too; If you don't plan on running a bumper get the 884x instead. I got almost 3 3/4" of lift from the 885x.
