    So I got rid of my 63 series k&n and got a aFe stage 2 si with a pro dry filter and pre filter from nosoup4you. Ive only put 9 miles on it, but I can already tell a difference between the two. Wasn't the biggest fan of the k&n.

    The aFe is actually pretty mild compared to that shitty k&n. Until I step on it. Around 2k-2500 rpms the thing roars.

    I have my stock intake with a huge deckplate and its super quiet.

    I have an older AEM bruteforce intake system with a new K&N / AEM dry flow filter than is supposedly as good as stock for filtering and its really tame till around 3k and then its WHOOOOOOAAAAAAARRRRRRRR hahaha

    But whats funny is I get better MPG's and way snappier throttle response with the AEM with the new filter....


    It had an old AEM grey filter that I replaced and it sucked.. the new filter somehow is better and my intake does not get dirtier over stock.. So strange.

    Nice! My mpg's have stayed around the same with the stock, k&n, and on the way to work even the afe. The k&n throttle response was super slow. My truck felt sluggish in low rpm's. I put the stock intake back on after selling it and my truck felt fine again. The aFe throttle response is just as good so far and felt a little better around higher rpms so Im happy so far with it

    Blew a rear 5100, so its time to upgrade I guess. Dont want to get another set of 5100's since thats not the route I wanna go. Ive been wanting another spring in the back, so Ill be getting about 3" in the rear, and will be doing 10" shocks with resi in the back and extended brake lines. Unfortunately that means the aFe will be getting sold to help fund the project :(

    Havent been on in a while....nothing new except I got some headlights! After stock headlights fogged over again, I figured Id do something new. Spyder LED Halo projectors. Wasnt sure if I liked them at first, but they grew on me
