marotta & Gleaver - Thanks guys.

pringles - Had to get my new AK registered. Bradda....flag me down next time!

Apples - Thanks very much bro. I know for many the 12's take some getting used to. For me, the attraction was instant. LOL

Naptown - Mahalo! The grill just has the emblem blacked out. Nice cheap mod for now......till someone comes out with a Satoshi!

    Hey

First off I wanted to say that your truck looks great!

Secondly I wanted to ask you and some of your followers some questions.
    (breath)

To start, I got a job in AK and cannot take my STi out there. You can see her at the link.

    http://www.iwsti.com/forums/gr-memb...08-silver-hatch-topspeed-447whp-e85-sale.html

So i plan on getting at new 12 Tacoma Ted off road in barcalona red. I have read around and have been having trouble finding a good answer of rim and tire choices. I plan on getting the toytec 3" ultimate lift with new ucas and Dakars. Unless you think there is a better way in that 2k price range. I would like to join you in the fn rim club but am concerned about the 5 bs. How much cutting will I have to do to make those rims work? I would like a comfortable dd with a adequate weekend wheeler. So are those the rims for me?

If not could you recommend some or at least some specs in rim and tire that I should be looking at.
    (breath)

I know it's a lot but I truly will appreciate your time if you could help me figure the best way forward.

    Sully

Sully, thanks for the kind words brutha.

I cannot impress how awesome the FN offerings are. These guys will not steer you wrong and in addition to looking awesome, all of their offerings are lighter than stock (as far as I know). If you're looking at the BFD's (hence the 5" BS), you need not worry. I ran that without the lift and with the current tires with really minimal trimming. I didn't even have to lift the truck. If you're doing the lift first, no trimming will be required. As far as your choice in lift....I LIKE IT!

I'd suggest calling the guys at FN and speaking with them directly. Ask for Dustin or Brian.....they are awesome customer service guys.

Wouldn't it be nice if it were just that easy! Lol, I'm starting to tear her apart tonight and but her back to stock over the weekend.

Awesome man! I really appreciate you getting back to me. I will be sure to talk to them as soon as the truck is the garage.

So just to reiterate, with the lift already on the truck I shouldn't have any rubbing issues correct, even off road?

Also can you share a rough stab at what the price tag was on rims?

    Thanks a bunch man!:D

Sully, you should be fine off road. Not 100% sure, but it's likely. Also, I'd love to talk pricing, but its always best for you to go to the source. The BFD's are affordable but that's relative.
