Thanks bro. Nothing major. Been building my guns and house instead. Hmmm got some Weather techs, whole new stereo system going in (Marv box, Hybrid f/r doors, Alpine Amp, Eclipse Navi deck, etc....), new TRD bedside decals being made right now to match my wheel color. Still got some major mods planned, but I'm too busy to fk with the truck right now. Happy 2013 bro!

nice rig man. real quick. do you think you would still have to trim with your lift? looks like you trimmed before the lift.

 

Thanks. It barely rubbed without the lift. It's likely no trimming would've been required had I done the lift at the same time.

very nice. i originally was going to buy the six shooter, but seeing your truck kinda edges me to pick these up. im running billies cranked to 1.75 w/ eibach springs currently, but just ordered the icon 3.5 extended travel coilovers and the icon 2.5 for the rears, so its refreshing to hear that im not going to need to trim anything to run these wheels.

i have almost the same setup and had to trim a bunch. it still rubs sometimes on the fenders. i cut the fenders and did a cab mount chop too. before that it would only rub at full lock.

 

taco daddy: wow serious? so its more of a truck to truck basis pretty much then. thats the main reason why i never buy my rims yet. so much conflicting reports LOL.

 

Just wanted to say I love your taco! How's your MPG on those tires (before and after the lift)? Your truck is an inspiration for mine

Thanks brutha. My MPG actually improved following the lift/wheels/tires. This was likely because the engine was still breaking in when I did everything. I had like 1000mi tops on it when I lifted it. I just turned 5500 and it's 13 months old. I do not regret the lift one bit and I am really glad I got the FN BFD's. I see a lot of copy cats in Hawaii now, and it's all good.

 

Here i am drooling over those BFDs again......

 

How are you liking your URD TCAI? How does it handle in the rain?
