Tacomanator - Doing this in place of the BHLM would be beast....but quite difficult. I'm pretty sure the Di-Noc can handle the heat of the headlights, but the DTRL's would burn it. Once you get past that.....then there's the task of getting it to fit & adhere to all the contours.

Kelson - Agreed. We got that group buy going on for the sliders in the Hawaii section. I'm sure Imma meet a lot of the forum members then. There'll likely be real talk about a get together then. I'm sure we'll meet this year sometime.

wow so sick bruh! i should of got those bfd's instead of the countersteer type x i really dig those after you did the slight trimming no rub issues at all?

 

The Countersteers rock too! Actually funny you should ask....I got a slight rub today while turning into a steep driveway. Nothing major, but a rub nonetheless.

 

Planning on buying a 2012, wowza I might have to copy you on the wheels and color . Favorite build thread so far on TW.

nice but i actually like the look of 18s way better then 17s and i was worried about rubbing issues with 18s on stock suspension but since you dont have much of an issue im gonna have to talk to brian/dustin about returning the countersteers and paying the difference if its possible

Sup bro. Nice ride. Looking to order rims cuz I just picked up my DCSB. THe 275/65 doesnt rub on your suspension? I want to get some 275's but dont want it to rub. Was feeling around behind the stock sport rims and its super close to a brake line bracket. COuldnt get my finger in between. Thinking of getting a 4.5 bs so i think it should clear also thinking of a -12 mm offset. Just wanna make sure before I drop some scrips.

 

Thx bro. These are 5" BS, 0mm offset. No rubbing with the 275/65-18's on the stock suspension components. I did have to trim the rear of the front fender flares. Keep us posted with your wheel/tire choice!

Me too, i drove a 2002 blue wrx, right off the showroom floor when they first came out, only to have some asshole run a stoplight and tbone me, totalling it. Then bought a 2004 sti right after. I ended up selling it and buying a white 06 tacoma, which was the start of it all.
