For the amount of money to make the drop bracket lifts decent you could have a sick mid travel set up that will run be more capable and ride better.

Wish someone would have told me. I'm not unhappy with it, just recommend looking at other options unless your building a mall crawler.

Drop bracket=6'' lift like his Fabtech that basically puts in a huge crossmember to lift the truck...not recommended to those who wheel

Mid Travel=High quality suspension that adds more travel than stock, but less than long travel (mostly desert runner trucks that need this type of travel and suspension)

Mall crawler=what wheelers call those who get a big lift, big mud tires, etc and never take it off road

Then I really suggest reading more on here before jumping in head first. A 6" kit like fabtech is considered a drop bracket lift or "DB" lift. Mid travel lifts equate to about 3" of lift with coil overs. I'll shoot you a PM tomorrow explaining that better lol

Mall crawler means no intention of offroading....aka street Queen or 98% of DB lifted trucks

Okay so you say with the mid travel its mainly dester runner and that sort of thing, but im down south and we dont have much of that. mainly mud holes, and dirt roads that sort of thing. would the same set up be as effective?

no. DB cuts out old crossmember and adds one that drops everything 6". Long travel increases the angles/length of control arms also requiring longer coilovers

No, sorry, I meant that the desert running applies to the long travel comment. Mid travel is good for normal wheeling like you're talking about.

I would start to research some build pages and maybe call around to companies like Downsouth Motorsports or SDHQ. The Mid Travel BS Thread is also a good one.

I've got 32k miles with the lift, and dirt logic coil overs....zero reliability issues.

If I were to go drop bracket again I'd go BDS.
