Hey man I have a question for you. I was looking at air compressors and I saw that there are 12v and 24v. Since I know you know your way around air compressors I figured I would ask. What is the deal? Is it just more power or is it just a geographical thing? For example the ARB Twin is the same air compressor but offered in 12 or 24?

Our trucks have 12v electrical systems, so you need to go with a 12v compressor

yeah that is what I figured I just wasn't sure why a 24v kit would exist.

Nice build man. Looking into getting the alcan springs and the icon 6" coilovers for the front in the future. Can't wait to get rid of these blocks. my rear springs are starting to look like Ws lol.

The stock springs indeed are garbage, even with a AAL. You'll love the improvement of aftermarket springs!

As far as the Icon's for the DB, I'd follow the 6" lift thread, scarlett4x4 and evenflow have figured out how to get max effective travel out of DB lifts

Did you just cut and splice the amber duallys in the bumper into the factory fog light wiring?

Aaron, you have created a beast of a truck. I was following you back when you first got it and began the mods. I finally have my '12 paid off and am beginning the process of adding all of the cool shit I have wanted while following the mods made by the others on here.
You really set the standard in my opinion, not only in the build but how you kept the page up to date and full of great information. I would have jumped on a DB solution based on looks alone when first seeing yours. Now I just have to figure out what a Mid solution will consist of.
Would love to hear what your choice would be if you had 4k to drop on suspension/lift knowing what you know now.

Appreciate it man ! It's definitely been a learning experience, wish I had taken my time and sat back and read more threads on TW instead of impulse buying stuff on deployment

If I could do it again:
Icon extended travel coil overs w/ res & CDC (#700lb springs if your doing a plate bumper/winch)
    Total Chaos UCA's
    Dakar/Alcan/All pro 3" leafs
    ATO Shackle flip bracket
Custom length rear Icon 2.5 Rear shocks (Depending on cash w/ res & CDC)

    That's all you really need!

Should be receiving my Brute Force HC rear bumper in the next two weeks or so..it shipped last friday. :woot:

Sweet gap ! Thanks to Dave for the help figuring out the ideal measurements, I've seen some huge gaps, luckily we were able to get it measured out and the first final cut was PERFECT!
