Cost me $25 to spray paint all my skids! Rustoleum paint/primer in one. Looks good, and easy to fix when needed

I used rustoleum bed liner on my gas skid, took two cans and one can primer.

Meh powder coat is only one day per diem, time is money. Going to have ~2 weeks to get the truck ready for Moab. Skid install/fab front xmbr mount, gears, lockers and rear suspension. Also build the spare CV's. Really want to make it!

Yeah must be nice making the deployment big bucks!

I didn't use the bedliner stuff, just the $4 primer and paint in one combo. Put 3 coats on each skid. Took 5 cans total.

My deployment got canned for now, so I will make Moab for sure! I head to South Carolina next month for 5 weeks though to teach, so per diem from that will pay for my shackle flip, shock relocation, bed rack and kings for the back.

Found a clean/reliable solution to regulate my 200psi down to the acceptable 85-100 range for the ARB lockers.

so just throw it inline and DONE! Even has a gauge/lock nut on the adjustment and mounting holes. Used in a lot of industrial applications.

    Pisco RVUM regulator.

$18 bucks on ebay is what I snagged mine for. They have different sizes/styles I went with 1/4 to 1/4 line. Will run that as the supply to the manifold block with the solenoids off my tank

Aaron...question on your TC LCA's. You have the Race series correct? Did you use a 1.25" spacer in the front for those? I read on the TC web site it was required and just wondering if you had some insight. And can I run my Mid-Travel ICON's with the Race series LCA's as well. Don't think I'll go LT here in Hawaii, but I do like the Race Series Lca's..

    Mahalo...:)

Rick, He has TC's long travel kit that comes with longer upper and lower control arms.

I see what your talking about. They have a note that says you need 1.25" spacers with the stock length race lowers. Maybe "still will" can chime in, he has the stock length ones.

Yes - I do have the +2 LT race series LCA. Eliminates the need for the uniball adapter therefore giving more ground clearance. Also has secondary mounts + lighter weight. I have the Spidertrax 1.25 spacers in the REAR to even out wheels a bit more because of the long travel.

The race series lowers will work without spacers you just need to have the proper backspacing, even with that your LBJ adapter on the spindle will hit the LCA at full lock..not a problem. You have to modify the steering stop by cutting the ears off and grind it back. If you are getting ready to pull the trigger on them, call TC they will point you in the right direction on backspacing. You have monsters...mine worked with the race series LCA, I had the 18x9 -12 / 4.5 BS.

    Long travel FTW :D

Thanks Aaron...:) Yes, I have the same Monsters you had at one time and size...:D Great info, but after researching I'm thinking of just keeping the mid-trvl setup. Not enough room on Oahu to get any speed for whoops. I think I have enough articulation (Up/Dn trvl) for what I can handle on this island and with my current ICON 2.5 setup. I have to admit though...the TC's look badass and have me drooling. It just seems hard to justify spending big monies on the stock TC lca's for just looks. Tough call...but thanks always for the input!

Buy them when its time to swap out your factory LCA because the bushings and ball joints are toast. :D Good justification to upgrade  Some of the guys that wheel pretty heavy crack the LCA near the bushing.

My truck doesn't have a DB kit any longer...LT paired with a Drop bracket lift is kind of counter intuitive. If you have a drop bracket kit you could go with a mid travel set up. Not sure what your wheeling style is like....LT is an expensive route to take for a mall crawler.
