Hey Ben, have you heard of the new curved RDS series light bars from Rigid? They look pretty freakin awesome from what I've read. I think I might have to hold off on a bar for my roof until they are available.

Was just looking at them today, supposed to be sometime in November but I'm not holding my breath. The Q4's I've been waiting on were announced last year :anonymous: Rigid likes to REALLY thoroughly test things before they put them out. I'll bet those RDS lights are pretty pricey, being that a 50" E series retails at 2199 and these take a lot more time to build.

Yeah I'm sure they aren't cheap lol. And I'm not holding my breath either. I like the idea behind it for sure. A 40" would look great above my windshield

Wife just told me its a snorkel and my remaining rotopax for my birthday and anniversary. :D
    How lucky am I?

Picking up bumpers tomorrow along with the wheels. Stoked. Pics coming soon.
My hope is to get the flares off and fenders cut so I can mount the bumpers then set the suspension.

Not sure how you're planning on cutting those fenders.. Method I used was to run a straight edge across the bed; and measure down from that to scribe a true cut line. Believe that it was around (18.5"?)...

I've gotta go back and clearance slightly more - found that 1/8" was too tight, and led to rubbing issues when the bed flexes..

Used 3M painter's tape, and coated the bare metal with self etching primer/foam brush.

Also, I would smear some grease on the inside edges of the frame mounts.. Billy had such a tight tolerance on the bumper that it was a really right fit.. That grease will help out lots getting the bumper to slide onto your frame rails.

One last thing.. Once you cut, you're committed!

Getting stoked! Only 8 more days, then I'll be down your way..

And you'll most likely be helping me turn wrenches. Haha, my hope is by friday we're starting on the suspension. We'll see what time allows. Got a bunch of loose ends to tie up before my chrrent employ ends. Board meeting tuesday night is gonna be a tough one. Gotta let them know I'm stepping down (I run the board), and that the direction we're headed won't require their services anymore. I think some will be relieved for the break, but it could get ugly for others.

The top possibilities for my birthday and christmas from the girlfriend are either money for a front bumper or a rear frame box/shock relocation set up. soooo... even just a girlfriend has benefits :)

My girlfriend has gotten me some straps and lights, but seems a wife spends more for good upgrades. My strap has come in handy though. Had a buddy keep geeting stuck in his HEEP so I just left my strapon on

Cancelled the shovel and axe. Tey tried to charge me 100 bucks for shipping. The guy on their customer service line said, yeah I'd cancel that too haha.

Also, need to fill out a bit of paperwork but airflow america has asked me to become one of their dealers, so expect a sale thread of those along with the rigids I'm selling.
