what size of wheel/tire did you use for your spare??? i read your entire thread and didnt see any info on it. The picture looks like it's close enough height wise if you had to use it with 4wd... and in that picture was it next to your 33x12.5r16 MTZ? (same as a 305/70r16???)

Hmm your right I didnt post that... I run a 33x12.5 R17. The spare is a Treadwright 235/85R16 CRAWLER M/T. The idea behind it was to keep it up high behind my bumper so it wouldnt drag on anything... And serve as a proper spare for 4wd on any corner

thanks... a 33x12.5 would hang pretty low underneath. what is the width of the wheel you have that 235/85r16 on? steel or alum? also threadwright's website says it's only a 32... looks like they under measured that one haha

Got the battery in and connected tonight. Re-used my 400a fuse... tied it right to the wire before the battery.

In lieu if keeping things simple... Not having to move all my mounted hardware. I opted for a top of the wheel well mount. Easy to access, and only two holes to make it work. All the electronics are reconnected and I have fresh wiring to the back for some led stuff. CB mount should be done today.

CB and rear LED's are re-mounted. Going to put one of these led strips around the bed tonight, and button up a few lose ends.

nice job working with the soft top...first time i've seen someone put lights on the back there....just need to get creative to allow you to disconnect and take off easily if you wanted the top down..

I didnt work in any quick disconnects, but the top will fold up with the lights and wire. Ill worry about the connect later if I ever need the top off... ill just clip it and add :)
