Cooper Discoverer M+S studded. 265/70r17's THESE TIRES ARE JUNK!!! DO NOT BUY THEM. GARBAGE IN LESS THAN 8K MILES AND WOULD NOT WARRENTY. EVERY TIRE HAD BROKEN BELTS AND TERRIBLE CHOPPING.

Which one do you like better cooper or duratracs?

Well depends what you're looking for out of your tire. The duratrac is a great all around tire and has worn very well however does lack traction on slippery roads in the winter. Has enough traction to get by but last winter my front end pushed several times through corners looking for traction even in 4wd. The discover M+S has been an outstanding winter and mud tire. Not as responsive on road as the duratracs. They feel like slippers compared to running shoes. Ride is much smoother also. Can't stress how good these are in snow and ice. I'm sure the studs help a lot there however even without they would be MUCH better then duratracs.

When I replace the duratracs it will be with either hankook dynapro Atm or the new bfg at ko2. The ko2 should be a very good competitor for the duratracs as far as aggressive all terrain tires

Love your truck man! It looks great! I envy the fact that you did the Fog Light Mod and Back Up Camera mod, I wouldn't trust myself in doing that!

Thanks man! The fog light and backup camera mods were veryveryeasy. The retrofit and front seat heaters were probably the most difficult and involved projects so far.

    Great looking truck.

When you mounted your bed extender did you have to use the spacers with the mount in order to get it to work with the truxport cover? I decided to get the truxport but also wanted a bed extender. I am planning on ordering the older U-shaped bed extender. Do you think I would have any issues with the standard mounts?

    Thanks!

Next on the list is possibly a cap. I’m going back and forth trying to decide if i want a cap or not. It would be so nice but i really have no where to store it if i wanted to remove it for any reason (except my 1 car garage but that is occupied by an s2000).

IF i end up with a cap it must have the headliner, vented windoors, and single rear window handle. Ive been researching what models would fit those qualifications from snugtop, A.R.E., and LEER. The search continues.

Yeah man i have the Leer and love it. I’m upgrading my rear leaf pack to allpro standards as the wheelers 3 leaf progressive AAL is starting to sag. I just Kept looking on Craigslist and finally found a deal. Anything under 1000 for your options is a good deal IMHO.

Good to hear. I have the icon 3 leaf add a leaf with my factory overloads removed. Figured if i add a cap i’ll Just keep an eye on it and if it sags deal with it then. Maybe a Deavers or alcan pack would need to be swapped in. Haven’t heard about the all pro standards. I’ll have to check those out.

Deaver, alcan, allpro and Dakar are all good leaf packs it just depends what you want out of them. But they are definitely upgrades to the stock and or 3 leaf AAL.

I found A silver shell and had to repaint for a few hundred to match my black truck but if you got the money a new one with all the bells and whistles is nice too.
