Hey guys! So.. I got home from Afghanistan about 2 months ago now.. dang.. its already been 2 months... Anyway.. I bought myself a 2006 Radiant Red DCSB. I started doing a little modding... I had an Ipod adapter installed recently .. getting bored with the same damn music on the radio all the time. I also just did a little plasti dip project with a buddy of mine on my wheels over this weekend. I should be installing a color matched Satoshi here pretty soon and hopefully some new HID's... Anyhow.. heres the start to my never ending story!

Yea.. I was a little skeptical about doing plasti dip but I checked out all the videos on youtube and researched it a bit and well from what ive seen they should hold up quite well. I can pressure wash the wheels and it should affect the plasti dip. Oh.. and the pizza was delicious!

I just bought into the group buy on the HID retrofit kit so I have that coming along with a spare set of headlights to use. I tell ya.. this modding thing is fun but boy I can see myself going broke doing all of this all the time!

So far so good on the Plasti dip wheels! They are still lookn pretty sexy! I finally got my HID Projector Retrofit kit in yesterday! and started applying some paint to a set of headlights last night and did a small mock up to see what it would look like..

Well I just picked up a set of OME lift kit thanks to one of the guys on here. I should hopefully be getting my Satoshi grill in and Im hoping to install that this weekend. Along with the grill I should have my blacked out headlights and HID projector retro fit completed and installed aswell! I will post more pics once everything starts being put together!

The M3 restoration came with a wet sand 1000 grit and 3000 grit sand paper. My friend and I tried the whole system over 2 times and got nowhere... Either way... I just got a set of headlights on ebay for 67 bucks. So when I get these Ill just pull them apart and put in the HID Projectors.

To be honest the install was not hard at all. I did the D2S HIDs so they were pretty much plug and play..Altho.. I f'ed up my first set of headlights with sanding and trying to clean them up they came out horrible.. Bought a second set of ebay.. they were great til I f'ed up 1 of them by getting glue on it and put Goof off on it.. DO NOT PUT GOOF OFF ON PLASTIC! lol I learned my lesson.. so.. through the hassle I used my OEM headlights and changed out the shroud with the black one from the ebays and they came out great.. took maybe 2-3 hours yesterday after everything to get it all apart and put back together. So minus all the other bs I did it was an "easy" install.. haha!
