So far rear bumps are the absolute best thing I have done. The truck handles very smoothly in whooped out sections now. I can't wait to run it in the dez :)

Soooo so stoked on them, they are from the Dirt Cinema silverado... Manual and Jonny never even took it off road so they are brand new just dirty. My truck is going to ride completely different with coilover & bypass up front.

Fox 2.0x3" bumps with poly performance cans. Probably should have bought king bumps too match but I can get four new fox bumps w/ cans for the price of two king bumps w/cans.. Ill just run king where it matters

    :D yeeee!

I don't trust their bypasses or coilovers but bumps are pretty hard to screw up, no springs or tubes on a bump stop! Their mountain bike air shocks suck dick and those are just as complicated as any truck shock they produce.

I got bypasses so i'll close the last compression tube for now to bump off that. Your turn to get bump or bypass up front

Fox's new MTB air forks are probably the most terrible thing iv ever used, air rear shocks arnt good but they arnt too bad compared to there forks, and i dont mind the rc4 at all...i used to run the old 40 back in 2006 when i just started racing DH and i remember when they released it, that fork was amazing and was still 1600 bucks back then haha i wish i could get my hands on one, blows away there new FIT damping shit they use now on the r2c2...rockshox pike ftw!

Yep!! My experience with fox has been all their stuff is mass produced and well priced. Rockshox pike is what's on my Bronson and it's buttery smooth with half the maintenance interval of fox.

How is the secondary shocks you're running up front? Are you air bumped up front too? The batmobile looks like it's got no problems catching air and landing smooth

Congrats on the new trail bike! I was wondering how only having a demo was.

I was thinking on getting king bumps but if I find fox for cheap I'll take them, where can I find cheap fox bumps?

I didnt mind the coilovers and rear shocks on my truck when i was mt but i never pushed em too hard so i cant chime in on there offroad stuff, but there mtb stuff is not verry good haha the secondary helps soooo much and yah im bumped off the lower were gona bump off the upper soon tho. Valving on both shocks were strait out of the box and it road amazing so just gota make a few adjustments, im running dualrates too which realy help in the little chatery pismo stuff.

As for the tracer i love it lets ride soon fool when you usualy do ur riding at?

@anthony Congrats on the Truck Daily shout out! Always fun to see local trucks on there.

Big part of my preference for King is knowing people there and getting great service. I know people have horror stories from king because they really do cater to the "big shock big tire non working door" crowd.

Secondly, just working with Steve from Dirt Designs and taking his off road mentor advice has led me away from fox. He has hundreds of RACE miles in the desert and they have tried to run fox on their race truck. They valved them every different way and got others opinions on and could never get them to ride smoothly or controllably. They went to King and the shocks added 20 mph out of the box to their truck in deep stuff that would swallow a leaf sprung truck like mine.
This probably only applies to a caged and linked truck, since leaf springs are somewhat limiting. But I can dream!

Bryce Menzies and Jesse Jones don't seem to have an issue running 110mph through the dez on fox 4.4s but I don't think the shocks they actually run are on the market.

I am running fox bumps on my truck because they are such a better price point, and that is one thing fox has nailed for sure. I also run a rear Fox shock on my mountain bike and its not terrible but their mountain bike air forks are junk and they just mass produce all of it to make the most quantity to maximize profits. They stopped caring how the shocks ride if you ask me.

Fox and King prerunner shocks (what I have) are very similar no doubt, but if you saw a 4.5 King Race shock like when Austin got his for the Dmax, it kinda makes you a King fanboy.

The debate will always rage on but when it comes down to it, run what you like and can afford! I can't afford king bumps, but Some food for thought from a King employee, nobody get's free kings, even BJ has to pay King. Fox will hook up a truck with shocks if its sponsored.

Im glad to be on that secondary game soon, my truck needs moarrr up front now that the fox bumps made such a difference in the rear.

I ride up and down the grade a lot, The Bronson is a pedal machine. But im also down to hit some steep stuff

Right! mix and match and get the best of both worlds! thats what I am doing. Neither company is paying me to run their socks so Ill mix and match as a please/can afford.

Hey, no beef over your truck on truck daily. I just saw engages comments and couldn't resist. I really do respect the time you put into your truck and its bad ass.
I remember seeing you and Jordan out at pismo when my truck was bone stock and thinking.. Fuckkkkk I wannt dat hahah
