im game to come out again and this time ill bring a DSLR to shoot some video and take higher res stills!! i might ask for a ride along spot with someone though for the beginning leg, that was a long hike in and out

I know, I know. I should be getting a new camera soon so I will get some decent shots then. Until then all I have are Samsung S3 shots.

Thanks again SCS! The wheels are awesome and really completed the truck. I am still looking forward to the SR8's when they do release. But until then I will rock the F-5's with Pride.

One last shot for now from the camera phone. I finished clearancing the wheel well with a BFH and a grinder. I had to cut back the cab mount some more and make a bit more room with the hammer. I also removed all the stickers from the doors and the frame. I now have a nice clean look with just the SCS decal on the doors.



Hopefully this weekend I can get some stuffing shots and also find out what else I need to trim.

Eric, can you take a picture, close up, of the cut section on your bumper? I want to see what the finished product look like when you did it.

Yeah I can do that this weekend. Although I will say the way we did Bob's was much easier. We simply cut his. Mine is cut and I added a piece of plate back in which is not really needed.

 

cough cough, where you going and do you need me to borrow a 5DMii or Miii for this?

 

Cool. I was planning on trying to weld in a small piece of plate to keep the nice, finished look but figured it would be hard to repaint and make it look nice. I am afraid that if I try to make it look better I will actually make it look worse.
