No disrespect  . But when the guy who's burned up four motors says I need to do it I tend to listen better.

We will get more when it's not so windy.

Doesn't seem impressive unless your in it. But for a double cab 4x4 with a plate bumper it goes!

Also came home and saw coolant on the SC

Turned out we missed a clip right under the TB. Glad we caught it!

Sliders and rear HC bumper with tire swing are on the list. Maybe this summer even  and idk what his plans for skids are :notsure:

Or tires, he has a lot of tread left and will probably keep them. Im sure it'll be a 285 or close to a 33 next.

Thanks! I was already on to it. I looked up the site IPT that does it. Looks like you can get it done for around 650 - 700. I'll have to think about it. After all thats the price for bolt on sliders, which I'll need on the Morrison Jeep trail.

Installed and Oil Can. Started with a cheap one off of ebay.

    2013-02-16105005_zps5a12afc4_bbf5dcf5316d37694c6ca40e74d4d0a945aab39f.jpg

I changed a few thing with it. I replaced the cheap hose barbs with brass ones, added a baffle system into it, and added a pet cock for a drain. The pictures below should explain it all. If you have any questions let me know.

Building the baffles, sheet aluminum cut out with a hole saw, the perforated with a 1/2" drill bit.

    2013-02-16151812_zps5058401c_fcea7d70a4e5eeee4d87a4219c5d103b120b6c2d.jpg

Used window repair screen for filter media between the aluminum plates.

Drilled out the bottom and taped to 1/4 npt for a petcock.

Drilled out one of the brass hose barbs and soldered in some 3/8" copper tubing.

Drilled a hole in the cap to hang the baffle assemble from.

Mounting into the truck proved a little challenging. After consulting with Monte we decided to run a piece of all thread from the wheel well and hose clamp the catch can to it. Turned out pretty good.
