Subbed! Awesome build. Great to see a lot of the mods on my pending list already in use. Great looking truck and it performs even better.

Thank you for the kind words gentlemen. :D

I'm still running the standard Dakar leaf pack without any added leafs. Been on the fence about possibly adding one tho but the Dakars just handle the extra weight so well and usually doesn't sag much either. That makes it hard to justify the extra cost and time to install an extra AAL. Maybe just run the standard leaf pack and if down the road you need a little more lift or weight capacity then add one?

Nice pics and vids Mike. Did you get the reverse light figured out? Could be the fuse...

My ADD actuator crapped out after that run. drained a quarter cup of water out of it when I took the cover off today... Worked once, but now the light is flashing again.

Good luck with the bumper - sounds promising this time! Sorry I couldn't wait...

Good call on the fuse idea Steve but i'm kinda ruling that out since the reverse lights and backup camera are coming on most of the time now. I'll know more info this Thursday when I see the mechanic about it.

Can't believe you went through ANOTHER actuator. How many has that been now? 4?! Lemme know what the dealer says about that...

As for the bumper, i'll believe it when I see it! lol but no worries, i'm sure there is more than enough ppl around here willing to take my current bumper off my hands.

    Great pick Matt! :D

Yes, you do have to run rear license plate lights to be legal, up here in Canada anyways! I'm sure the bumper should come with a light to use (and a spot to mount) tho....?

Feels good to have everything done now. (except replacing fluids) Brake pads were super easy to replace and nice having spark plugs done today as well. Got the difficult stuff outta the way, tomorrow i'll finish everything else off.

Sorry for any confusion everyone, but I've been wanting to change my username to something a little more relevant.

Anyways a little update. Had the Taco into the dealer for a brake fluid flush and a new rear diff pinion seal. Upon inspection of the drums, found out pads were pretty much toast as well. So i'm going to be replacing those as well.

And for the BIG news... my custom bumper from Kevin has been shipped as of yesterday. Cannot wait to finally get this! :D

To my knowledge, there are only like 5 or 6 "Kevin Built" front bumpers in existence. Welcome to the club :)

I was wondering who TF DueNorth was in my subbed threads!

Congrats on the bumper dude! Can't wait to see it.

Made an appointment to take her in to get the actuator looked at for the 4th time. For sh!ts and giggles I took the cover off to see what kind of crud was in it. 1/4 cup of water drained out on my arm... blew it out with the compressor, put dielectric grease on the contacts and put it back together - still NG.

Went in to work and priced a new Taco on line... Got out of work, started the truck and no flashing light! Locked 4hi and lo up 6 times on the way home - worked every time. It's been working ever since. Maybe just needed to dry out.

I'll be taping the hole up for every run from now on - hopefully it lasts a while (until I can afford inchwormgear setup :D)

Well I started getting bored of my username so might as well try something new and a little more fitting. Since I always travel north to go wheelin'. :D

Honestly tho, I was holding onto the idea of making a trip down but this past months maintenance on the truck ($500+) AND finding out yesterday my male Golden Retriever is going in for surgery to have two lumps removed off his tongue :( has pretty much nixed any idea of travelling south. I'm pretty worried after hearing about all this dude... especially if those lumps turn out to be cancerous.

Thanks man, can't wait to unveil it. To my knowledge he's only built one other plate bumper tho ;)

Funny you say that about drying out, because that's exactly what I think is going on with my backup camera/reverse light issue. Now that everything is dry, shit has been working fine. I'm surprised to hear your actuator had a 1/4 cup of water in it tho! Did you try sealing it up a little better? Is Toyota going to warranty it again for you?

And whats this about an inchworm setup? I so want!

Thanks for the response man, dunno why I never got an email notification that you answered my question. I'm going to go ahead and do this tho, my center cupholder is scratched all to shit so covering it up with plastidip seems like an ideal solution. To be honest, I've never even used the stuff before.

Thanks Corey, i'm keeping my fingers crossed but even my vet wasn't exactly sure what these lumps are. It seems very serious, especially since they are on his tongue...

I know this has nothing to do with my build but here's a few pics of my boy...
