installed my LR UCA from headstrong offroad last week. Installation was pretty straight forward and never had any hiccups. Common mechanic sockets were used, as well as a vice grip and a hammer. Time for installation took 2 hours.

here are some photos from the installation
    [IMG]

heres a photo of the vender that i bent using a vice-grip in order to remove the long bolt. i decided not to use it. after installation of the new UCA i just bent it back and painted it. better than spending another 24 bucks on 2 bolts from the stealership

had to remove the car battery and loosened the bolt with the bracket (in the middle of the picture) holding the loom of wires to remove the bolt

everything installed. ball joint looks alot better

got my alignment the following day.
    left | right
    caster 3.0 3.0
    camber 0.0 0.0
    toe 0.01 0.01

braddah, i went to scottys in pearl city for my alignment. they did what i wanted, got it within spec, came with 6 month warranty and feels much better now.

honestly, i dont recall having the exact amount paid for the nfabs, but i think it was around 360 shipped.

used breaklean to clean them first, then used the red 3m scouring bad to roughen them up, then cleaned'em with breaklean again, then sprayed 2 coats of high heat brake caliper paint

Killah build my braddah. One of the cleanest trucks i've ever seen, let alone on Oahu. Just wondering where you got your parts for your lift? Looking for that exact set up, just dont know where to get the best deals. Especially in hawaii. Thinking about buying the parts from separate sites online. Thanks again man.

    Ckeene9 - thank you!

Sr5808 - thanks my braddah, I got my springs from down south motors ports, and the add a leaf and billies from toy tech. I shipped both to my friends house in Washington, and when I visited him, I just threw that and some trader joes in a box and took it home with me. Just paid, what 60 bucks for the extra fee. The control arms were from headstrong motors ports. Highly recommend them. Cheapest I found on the web with shipping to the island. Good luck!

    Pcbuilder14 - thanks Brent!

anytime, if youre going to order locally, 4wheel may be your best bet/cheapest route. only because youll save a shit load on shipping.

Super awesome build. How do you like the Duratracs? I need to do the retrofit soon, that looks so cool on the front end.
