normally when people cage they remove the whole interior and then some put it back in. you cant really weld in there and not catch the shit of fire with the carpet in .

Its been out awhile and not going back in. Its gona have sound deadning tiles throughout on the cab with closed cell foam sandwiched beetween the tiles and mass loaded vinyl. Then once its done im gona have the whole truck re-upholsterd to and around the cage later on

i haven't updated this lately but heres whats up...

DTF has been killing it on my truck and it should be at the Pismo Beach mob meet april 4th put on by Mob Armor and Stealth Mafia...wont be done but should be at least done enough to be out there before going back to have some stuff finished up on it. not posting pics yet, but heres whats new, finally have all the parts heres whats goin on pretty much rebuilding the truck haha

    Tundra 10.5" axle
    JBA long tubes
    Thorley Y Pipe
    UMP intake
    Jazz Fuel Cell
    Hella HID Roof Bar
    Corbeau Seats
    Crow Harnesses
Raam Matt sound deadener with mass loaded vinyl for soundproofing
    LED taillights
    smoked headlights
    NRG steering wheel
NRG quick disconnect with momo adapter
    landons solid motor mounts
    trac LCA gussets
    fiberwerx 1 piece clip
    fiberwerx tt style 6" bedsides
    Kenwood excelon headunit
    dual optima yellow tops
and I'm sure I'm missing a lot of shit

gona have full class 2000/7100 race legal cage front to back primarily done in 2" DOM. ditched the inner fender wells and bed. rear tires are going to be laying flat on a hydraulic trunk like setup. going to still be running 10" coil overs in stock coil bucket up front with the complete bolt on DTF kit but will be bumping off the UCA. also will be on DTFs SUA kit out back on deaver h67s bumped and strapped at 9" up travel 9" down travel for a total of 18"

not listed but as soon as the trucks back ill be redoing the interior myself with new carpeting for the roof and floor which you'll have to wait and see :spy: also going to be having a place do sheet metal work inside the cab, around the bed cage and some in the engine cage to really make it look clean along with some custom chase lights. still undecided on whether I'm going to have it vinyl wrapped or have the glass painted because i do like the gloss black.

hopefully in the next couple months will be adding like i had before stacked LED bars on the bumper, having someone at the shop do a custom retrofit for the headlights and some other little luxury things like new sound system :)

also looking to make the switch from SAWs over to kings here in the next 6-8 months with a 2.5 CO and 3.0 bypass up front and a 3.5" bypass out back.

after that need a few more things like alternator, aluminum radiator, race radio, trans cooler, GPS, safety gear and some other things before we decide to race it in the sportsman class hopefully next year...in the mean time it'll be a luxury runner super excited to finally see it coming together...ill post pics in 3 weeks :p

So the trucks taking a bit longer than anticipated but really happy with how its turned out these are from a month ago or so, not much done since then :( so this is pretty much how its sitting currently, can't wait to drive this thing I'm beyond happy with all the work DTF is doing to it.
